Chapter twenty-eight: meeting the gods
Although he didn't know who this strange but extremely beautiful woman was, he had a nagging feeling in his mind that this was someone important to him, and she was someone he did not want to mess with as because when looking at her he felt nothing. The only time he felt such was in front of his brothers master and even then he could feel some faint aura and he wasn't even tier 1 and now that he is he still couldn't feel this woman's presence. Fear struck him like lightning he felt the need to take a step back with every step this beautiful but dangerous woman took.
["It is alright, With this you should understand who I am"] the system suddenly displayed a message, but Lucien was to pre occupied in thinking of ways to make his death less painful cause he knew he had no way out of this.
'This is the same way I lost them because I'm too weak, I'm backing up like a coward and not standing my ground resolve flashed across his eyes as he stood his ground and drawer out his weapon , a diamond glass like sword was quickly pulled out of his inventory, this short sword was given to him by the system [ Harpe of Perseus] this sword, was made from a lustrous steel with dull runic engravings plastered on the flat side of the steel. Brandishing the steel he stepped forward only to be frozen in place by an oppressive aura, the look of kindness on Athena was gone and was replaced by bone chilling coldness, she stared at Lucien like a god looking down at an ant and told him "Focus before fighting" not understanding her word, his system screen forcefully flashed before his eyes displaying the words he didn't see before, a hint of understanding flashed across his eyes and then the aura weighing down on him was removed and he stood up and looked at Athena with a contemplative look " so you create she system, your the forgotten gods, but isn't it god's as in plural meaning multiple of you" bombarding Athena with multiple questions all at the same time. Astonished by his curiosity and lack of fear of how easily she subdued him, she subconsciously answered " The others are inside" nodding his head Lucien looked at her curiously and asked " So you are a god" getting her bearing Athena answered his questions with a calm "yes" Realizing he was in the presence of someone who could create and destroy galaxies his face paled and he nearly lost his balance realizing that he just foolishly raised his sword against such an existence and he just gave a wry smile with his face still pale and driven of all colours.
"Lets us go" not waiting for a reply Athena walked into the darkness that veiled half the planet, quickly following behind her Lucien was almost running trying to keep up with Athena, she was walking as slow as she can but every step she crossed 100meters in an instance " So you've finally undergone the trial for tier2" asking Lucien a question without slowing the down the panting Lucien answered with laboured breaths " Yes" and Athena was silent for a few seconds before replying " It doesn't show, did you just kill and kill till you levelled up, if we didn't pull you out of that place to upgrade you to tier 2 ourselves you would've died a horrible death" confused by the words that Athena just spoke he asked her" What do you mean" replying him Athena said" Unlike those stupid rocks that people used to advance, using the trials without properly preparing is beyond stupid, even with your forced evolution and physique you would've died because of how weak you are. Only the strong have survived those trials and they became gods, that's why there are more celestial than gods because gods started off doing those trials and most didn't even make it, next time take in consideration your life so you don't die such a foolish death" with that speech Athena raised her hand and like a curtain the darkness slowly split itself apart and revealed a obsidian mountain with a grand temple that was made from gold and floored with jaded tiles, the beauty of the building could only be made by godly architects because the design and meticulous details on the buildings could not be done by any mortal man.
Entering the temple Lucien was in awe at the ancient runic formations and the beautiful wooden furniture that seemed to be carved by a mad man who seemed hell bent on perfection walking down the hall they seemed to arrive at their destination as they stood before a grand double door and as they stepped up to do the Lucien wanted to push it open but before he could the door opened up when he stood on a mat before the door and the door slid open like those at stores. Perplexed at the sight he turned to Athena who only grinned at him and said" We are gods but doesn't mean we can't have some modern things in our home we aren't boomers" with that she walked through the doors and Lucien followed behind with a very confused look.
The moment he stepped in the room a pressure unlike anything before pressed down on him and he collapsed and fell unconscious.
Everyone who was there were looking at the unconscious boy with confusion and Athena who had disappeared to beside Zeus slapped her hair and screamed at all the gods from the three pamthenons " YOUR AURAS YOU DIMWITS" Everyone then bore an embarrassed smile at the situation and then the aura that seemed to suffocate the area disappeared but unsurprisingly Lucien was still unconscious with a stupid look on his face. Walking up to him swaying her hips a girls then stepped up to Lucien and opened her hand and blew on it sending pink dust on him and immediately Lucien woke up feeling refreshed, standing up he looked around the room and a feeling of inferiority washed over him as he was in the presence of people who were leagues more beautiful than him, when he looked around the room his gaze fell on the woman in front of him, his eyes widened at the lascivious thoughts inducing woman in front of him who made him have an immediate erection, Looking at the mighty sword standing at her the woman pointed to it with an o shaped mouth and said seductively, is that your knife scabbard or are u just happy to see Me, " Aphrodite stop it now" Athena said from behind "Your no fun Thena " suddenly Lucien snapped out of his daze and when he heard Athena voice he stared at her, her face still as cold as before and looking beside her Lucien saw three powerful looking men sitting there at the end of the table, even with their AURAS suppressed they radiated a feeling of power and the need to worship them washed over him. The voice of the one beside Athena said to him " Welcome Lucien blakstin we need your help".
