And it was then her ears picked up several gunshots from that direction.
" What…"
" Let's go and figure out!" She hurriedly flew over the burning place and landed on the other side of it.
Her first instinct was to check on Midoriya, and to her relief, he was unharmed.
She then took in their surrounding. The villain, his hostage surrounded in some kind of energy barrier, and the guy from earlier who was driving the motorbike. He appeared to have a prosthetic arm that could shift into some kind of gun.
Not enough information to form a coherent picture.
" That was a close call, young lady." A voice boomed, and Sora's eyes flicked to its source. A shadow walked down the street with an unhurried gait, holding out a hand as he stepped out of the shadow. He seemed like a middle-aged fine man, but his aura contrasted with his look.
It was vile.
Could it be… she glanced over at the energy field covering the girl. This is his Quirk, not hers? It was then that her eyes caught the small object stuck at the border of it. A bullet.
No, it wasn't stuck.
It was moving… albeit in slow motion.
I see now.
" So this is your doing?" The villain turned around, about to lung at him, when the force field expanded, capturing him as well.
Sora snapped as the man riding the motorcycle continued to shoot at the dome of slowed matter, to no avail. It was then that Midoriya used his black whips to stop him.
He retorted by pointing a gun at the boy, but by the look of his aura, Sora could tell he had no intention of firing.
The other man used the chance to make for the girl, entering the energy dome, albeit not slowing down. He picked her up and walked away, the energy surrounding him.
Once they were out of its perimeter, the bullets accelerated, actually hitting the villain in the process.
Uraraka and the rest caught up just then, only for Hagakure to shout as she pointed a finger to the sky.
Gliding over the buildings was what one could only describe as a carnival flying ship, with bright neon lights decorating its frame.
The ship came to a stop overhead and dropped its altitude, letting them take a good look at the people boarding it.
Sora blinked at them. " For some reason, they give me mafia vibes… even their auras are pure malice."
Her eyes widened as one of them stepped forward, clad in a white tux and red and blue cape. He had some kind of mask on, but he soon removed it as he declared in the loudest voice he could master. " You're safe now, Anna. Why? Because I am here!"
What, or who, looked back at them was none other than All Might's face. Or, a replica of it. The person might have seemed and even sounded like All Might, but there were subtle differences. That, without speaking of the extreme dark aura he sported. It was so thick to the point of nausea. Sora couldn't help but cover her mouth as her stomach lurched. How could someone exude such a level of malice?
" Gollini…"
" Gollini?" Sora blinked at the red-haired man, still being held back by Midoriya.
Damn it! If Yuu were here, he would have provided some information, but… she glared back at All Might's impersonation. This man is definitely dangerous.
The time affecting field dissipated, and Anna tried to struggle free from her captor. However, one glance from the woman clad in some witch-like outfit made her stop.
Sora's frown deepened as she saw the girl's aura fade away, almost undetectable. Hold up… some mind-affecting Quirk?
Both the girl and her captor had been floated up to the ship.
The man on the red motorbike attempted to go after them, but Midoriya kept holding him back. After all, he seemed to want to shoot Anna.
" Let me go!"
" No can do!"
" This might be my last chance!"
Last chance? Just what the heck is happening!!
" Can someone please explain what's going on here!?" Hagakure shouted.
" I'm not sure," Sero rubbed the back of his head, pulling their attention to something they had forgotten during the sudden reveal of the imposter. " And that Genji villain…"
" Quick! He's running away!" Uraraka cried.
The man ran at full speed and jumped towards one of the buildings, chewing his way through it while throwing debris all over the place. The edifice cracked and tipped, about to crush the people beneath it, when Midoriya and Sora came rushing to save them.
Sora quickly swept as many civilians as she could away from the danger zone while her friends tried to keep the debris away.
It was then that a shock wave occurred, taking them all by surprise, more buildings collapsed, and several more lumps of concrete and rocks were thrown in their direction as a smoke screen engulfed everything around.
Sora quickly brought her wings to their full size and tried to shield those close by.
And then Genji dropped from the sky, eyes rolling to the back of his head.
Sora shook off the debris on her back and looked up at him. She noticed the flower on his belt wilting away just as his silhouette shrank and went back to the one they had seen on the briefing report.
That flower…
She picked up one of the petals that fluttered nearby. " This is no normal flower…" Her eyes narrowed. " There is a faint aura lingering on it. Could it be… some Quirk… is this the reason he was monstrously strong…" She looked up at the unconscious man.
" Hey!" It was like someone had just upturned a bucket of ice over her head. " That appearance… are you heroes?"
The one pretending to be All Might hopped off the broken bridge and landed right before Midoriya, who was still stuck among the debris. " You're still young… Want some chocolate?" he said, whipping out a tablet of said snack.
" Huh?" Sora could only blink in bewilderment at his attitude.
" You're the one who did this?" Midoriya's voice was cold, almost distant.
Uh oh, he's angry…
" Hm? Ah, you don't have to thank me. That villain tried to cross me after all. The one who will become the Symbol of Peace."
" Symbol… of Peace?"
This man is insane!
The man's sole reaction was a proud smirk. " Yeah, All Might himself."
" Are you crazy?"
He is crazy!
" My my, no ordinary person could fathom my ideals, huh?" He stood up and walked over to his flying ship. " Then, let's explain it in simple ways so even a child could understand."
As he turned around, he held what appeared to be a golden coin in his hand. When it fell to the ground, it created a pool of light from which a dias rose up, lifting the man higher as he threw several more around.
Cameras, lights, and drones manifested seemingly out of this air, all of them functioning well and capturing the face of the fake All Might, which was then broadcast to every screen in the country.
" Citizens of Japan, it's an honor. I stand here as the new All Might. The man who would become the Symbol of this new age."
" A new… All Might…" Midoriya mumbled in disbelief.
" This man has all of his screws loose!" Sora told him as she helped the boy out of the rubble. " There is no way anyone would acknowledge him."
" Why did All Might rise up to become the undisputed Symbol of Peace? The answer is a simple one. Because he was strong."
" Now he's spewing nonsense…" Sora groaned. She blinked when she took notice of the raging aura beside her.
Midoriya was furious.
Too bad! I forgot this one is a hardcore fan! If the man continues to ruin All Might's image, it might really turn ugly!
However, said man had no intention of stopping his speech, declaring that he would be the new Symbol of Peace. " From now on, it's my turn! I'm the justice! I'm the Symbol!"
Before she could act to stop him, Midoriya flew to confront the man.
As I expected, he wouldn't stay put…
Considering the group before them and what they were capable of, it would have been best to stall and wait for backup to come. But apparently, Midoriya was in no state to think rationally by that point.
" Then, I will twist your refute with my strength!" The man declared as he took off his cape and pulled Anna close to him. His eyes glowed pink as flowers bloomed all around him.
" Those flowers…" Sora's eyes widened. " So it was hers…"
The man held out his hand as a flood of golden coins gushed out, falling to the ground and creating swirls of colors and light.
The once firm route beneath Sora's feet turned out soft like fabric as beams of golden light pulled at vehicles, buildings, and even space itself, and into a twisting mass of light and colors.
" What… is happening here…"
The mass grew bigger and bigger, almost swallowing them.
" Too bad! Let's get out of here!" She cried as she grabbed the nearest people and tried to soar away with them.
But to no avail, the bright light ended up catching and enclosing her as well…

Not far away, Yuu could only widen his eyes at the odd phenomenon. Even Todoroki's famous ice wall couldn't hold it at bay, for the strings of light phased through the icicles and reached out for them.
Their truck made a U-turn in an attempt to escape it, which only angered Bakugo.
" It's catching up!" Ashido cried.
" We will be swallowed!" Kirishima blurted, looking out the window.
" Sora…"
Not before long, they were overcome with the wave of colors and light…
