Chapter 973 - IUD-Chapter 968 Sylvia’s First Battle

Main God's Dimension – Training Zone.

After leaving their personal residence in the residential area, Fang Li and Sylvia made their way here. Along the way, Sylvia displayed an unprecedented level of amazement toward the scenery presented by the Main God's Dimension.

And one couldn't really blame her. After all, the Main God's Dimension was unlike any other place. Here, it wasn't just humans, there were lifeforms from countless other planes as well.

Dragons flew across the sky.

Beasts raced across the land.

Ghosts howled right beside them.

And fish swam freely through the air all around.

Creatures like these moved about as though by miracles, occasionally casting intelligent, curious glances at Fang Li and Sylvia, clearly showing they possessed no less intelligence than humans.

In such a setting, even Fang Li, when he first arrived, couldn't help but be awestruck, let alone someone like Sylvia, who was seeing it for the first time.

"Feels like I've stepped into a mythical world…"

That was Sylvia's most immediate impression, and, in truth, the same feeling everyone gets when they first enter the Main God's Dimension.

Fang Li, however, had long since grown used to it. So he merely smiled and said to her: "I'll show you around more later. For now, let's take care of your goal first."

With that, Fang Li led Sylvia to the entrance of a building and placed his hand on it.

A system notification rang out in both their minds.

"You have selected a Rank 4 Training Ground. Proceed with usage?"

"Yes."

"Rental cost for Rank 4 Training Ground:

1 day: 1000 Exchange Points

3 days: 3000 Exchange Points

10 days: 10,000 Exchange Points

Please choose a rental duration."

"One day."

"Rental successful. 1000 Exchange Points consumed. You have obtained one-day access to this training ground."

As the system finished speaking, Fang Li pushed open the training ground door.

Instantly, an extremely minimalist training ground appeared before Sylvia's eyes.

It was like a sealed chamber, just a cube-shaped empty space, with nothing else inside. The area wasn't even particularly large.

Seeing this, Sylvia couldn't help but think:

"Feels like a pretty ordinary place… It's not even as good as the personal training room I had back at Queenvail Girls' Academy."

Unfortunately for her, that thought vanished the very next moment.

Shua!

In a blur of motion, Fang Li manipulated the window in front of him, changing the training ground's simulation to recreate a Festa-exclusive stage, the Sirius Dome.

"Ooohhhh----!"

Roars of the audience erupted from all directions, instantly transforming the atmosphere into one of thrilling excitement.

Only then did Fang Li turn to the wide-eyed Sylvia, speaking with a teasing smile: "Well? Are you satisfied with this simulation?"

Hearing that, Sylvia finally snapped out of her daze.

"Hehe…" She began laughing for no apparent reason.

"What's so funny?" Fang Li blinked, a bit confused. "Why'd you suddenly burst out laughing?"

"It's nothing," Sylvia shook her head with a smile. "It's just… I used to imagine that one day, I'd probably have to fight you. Maybe in some grand stage like a Festa. Back then, I told myself that if that day ever came, I'd put on a great performance and go all out. I just didn't expect it to happen like this."

"Honestly, neither did I," Fang Li chuckled wryly. "So? Having second thoughts about going all out?"

"You're clearly not the type to hold back, are you?" Sylvia responded with a knowing smile. "In that case, I won't hold back either."

With that, Sylvia closed her eyes.

"Vmmm------ !"

At that very instant, the air around Sylvia suddenly trembled.

Mana, in that brief moment, began to stir.

As a fellow Genestellar, Fang Li could sense it clearly.

The Mana rising around Sylvia's body wasn't originally present, it was manifested from nothing.

And that was only natural.

After all, Genestellars like Fang Li typically didn't utilize Mana in the first place. They fought using physical abilities and Prana, and even their Ogre Lux weapons were formed through the Mana within Urm Manadytes, requiring no external Mana from the world.

But for a Strega (Witch) like Sylvia, in order to use her Abilities, she needed to convert Mana into phenomena.

However, outside of the world of The Asterisk War (学战City Asterisk), there simply was no such thing as "Mana" in most other worlds.

If that were the case…

Wouldn't it mean that Strega-types couldn't use their Abilities in other worlds?

Wouldn't that render entire Classes practically useless in the Main God's Dimension?

If such a thing were allowed to happen, the entire Class system would be called into question.

Which is why the Main God's Dimension corrected this flaw.

For any Class whose Abilities relied on unavailable world mechanics, once a person successfully transitions into the Class, they are granted an automatic exemption, they can freely use their Abilities without such limitations.

This is also a form of Class buff, albeit a hidden bonus.

So for Sylvia as a Strega (Witch), once she activates an Ability, Mana is automatically generated, allowing her to convert it into the necessary magical phenomenon.

In this way, Sylvia could now use her powers just as she did in her original world, with no barriers at all.

Shortly after, Sylvia pulled out an activation device.

"Zheng------ !"

The Manadyte on the device glowed brightly, causing her Lux to materialize. Appearing in Sylvia's hand was a massive spear. No, at this point, it could practically be called a cannon.

It was the same heavy cannon-type Lux as the one Rimsy used during the Phoenix Festa, the Ruinshalef model.

But this Lux, Fang Li recognized immediately.

It was Sylvia's signature weapon: a hybrid Gun-Edge Lux, famed for being effective in both melee and ranged combat.

Its name was, "Folkvangr!"

Dense Mana immediately began gathering at Folkvangr's cannon barrel.

Fang Li's eyes narrowed slightly as a faint grin spread across his lips. His palm tightened as he gripped his crescent-shaped dagger, its blade shimmering with a cold, solitary gleam.

In the next instant, A massive beam of light tore through space, splitting the air with blinding brilliance as it shot directly toward Fang Li.

"BOOM------ !"

With a deafening explosion, the beam slammed into the ground, unleashing a roaring fireball and a shockwave that rippled outward in all directions.

But before the flames could even spread, A chilling blade light cut through the explosion.

"Psshhk------ !"

With a sharp slashing sound, the blazing explosion was sliced in half, cleanly bisected.

"Chi------ !"

From within the sundered flames, a figure shot out, racing directly toward Sylvia.

Seeing this, Sylvia smiled.

That smile was both confident and radiant.
