MEETING HER AGAIN…
Arriving at the school, Nala took Kate to the headmaster's office, so they would know the class she was in. As he was considering her grades and her transfusion form, he asked her to take her on a walk.
Donald sat on the stairs listening to music with his headphones on, then all of a sudden, someone removed it, and he was angry, then it turned out that it was his friend, Jace. He looked away,
" what? What did you want?"
" I didn't see you at the gate today, you didn't wait for, me," Jace said,
" What am I? Your GF? You asked me to stop"
" I was just joking, you don't have to take it serious, huh?" Jace said and Donald shrugged then looked away. As he looked to his left side, he saw Nala and someone, probably a beauty beside her
" Whoa, who is that gorgeous lady beside My Nala?" Donald said and Jace smiled
" she is back, MY Kate," Jace said, making that "My" sound so that Donald can stop obsessing about her.
Donald was surprised
" Kate????" His eyes light up.
" wow, she has become so gorgeous"
"stop that unless you want me to break your front teeth"
" You are such a joy killer, can't I appreciate her beauty?" Donald looked at him as if he wanted to punch him and looked away, smiling at Nala.
Nala caught their sight and smiled
" Kate, over there, let's go and meet the boys," Nala said, smiling and dragging Kate over there
" Hey, Guys, this is Kate, you remember her right? Kate, this is Jace, and this is Donald. You remember them right?"
Donald smiled and stretched his hand for a shake, only to see Jace's own beside his too, also stretching it for a shake. Jace looked at Donald and gave him a look to drop his hand, but he looked away, smiling at Kate widely.
Kate folded her both arms and looked away
" I clearly remember you guys, thanks to you, I had a very tough childhood," She said and Jace bring down his hand while Donald use his left hand to bring down his right hand putting it in his pocket then he cleared his throat.
Kate turned to Nala
" Take me back to the H. D's (headmaster) office," she said and turned away.
Nala looked at them and gave them an apology smile then she left with Kate
" What the hell? Did she think she had it all now? I take back my words. 'Gorgeous'? My foot" Donald said angrily and left.
Jace didn't say a word, he kept smiling, staring at Kate's retreating back.
When they got to a corner, Kate smiled and Nala looked at her, really furious
" Did you just smile? You must be happy after turning your friends down harshly like that. They were eager to see you, but what now?"
" What? I was also eager to see them?"
" Don't tell me white lies, you're eager to see them because you were planning to do this!" Nala was beaming with anger
" Take it easy Nala, I was just joking with them at first, but they take it too serious. that's why I play along" she laughs
" I was surprised to see Jace serious for such a long time and Donald too, it was hilarious," she said, bursting into laughter
" They took it serious because they thought you meant it." Nala paused for some while before she continued.
" You should apologize to them"
"Why would I? I was just joking"
" Yes you are, but they didn't know, it must have hurt them that you reply their warm greetings with a cold response. They did be sad" Nala said
" Okay I will, there is no need to be angry," Kate said and Nala looked away
" I…. Am… Not angr...." Nala was saying when Kate cut in
" It's okay, let's hurry and go"
" ok," Nala said and they both left.
Jace got to the class later after some minutes and, as expected, their class was the nosiest in the building, Kelvin and his gang were at the back forcing Louis to dance to their song. He was frustrated and someone came in
" Jace your HR teacher wants to see you," He said and left
Jace sighed and followed him.
Arriving at the staff office, he saw someone beside him, then he walked closer to him and saw Kate, a smile crept at the corner of his lips and he greeted him.
" Right Jace, what's wrong? Why is your class so noisy? I could hear from here"
" I'm sorry sir, I just get to the class, I will control them as soon as I get back"
" Alright, go ahead. I will soon be there, make sure it's organized, I will soon come to your class to introduce your new classmate," He said and pointed at Kate
Jace smiled and nodded
" I will get going then," He said and exit the staff office.
As expected, their class is so noisy. He entered their class angrily and stood in the front, then he used a cane to hit the front table and everywhere was silent until Kelvin burst into laughter and his gang also followed him.
" It's not funny, is it? If the chairman is in school, and he heard you guys' noise, don't you think will be infuriated? I guess you all want to have a month's suspension" Jace said and everyone kept quiet while Kelvin walked up to him,
" What the…." He stopped, laughing.
" Whoa, I'm scared. Yeah, what should I do now? I almost wet my pants" He said, laughing, and his gangs also joined him, teasing Jace. Jace was beaming with anger.
" What will you do if I don't stop? Would you report me? Go ahead, I bet you can't, you know my dad won't sit still. Go ahead" Kelvin said, smirking. Jace was speechless, he was lost until he heard the voice of someone, his savior.
" what scared of whom? Your father? Your father may be one of the highest sponsors of this school, but you don't know Jace's dad? He is also one of the highest sponsors. Yeah, we were just scared that we will be arrested for child abuse if we reported you. I can't stand you when you are crying and sniffling like a baby" He said and everyone laughed. Jace can't also help but laugh. Though he can't be immature sometimes, he always helps him when he is lost. He smiled at his friend, Donald,
Kelvin was infuriated and knocked down Donald's cloth. Jace made a move, but Donald stopped him, giving him an "I got this" look, and Jace backed down,
" Did you want to fight? Then we shouldn't fight here, your HR teacher will be mad at me if we do that, you know my father isn't rich. I can't avoid being forced to transfer. Let go to the school field and fight, meanwhile prepare yourself, I have a red belt in taekwondo" Donald said and smiled. Then Kelvin removed his hand angrily from his cloth and Jace stepped in.
" It's okay Donald, let's go," Jace said and they both left.
They stopped at the school gardening
" Did I cross the line again?" Donald asked and Jace hugged him.
"Thank you"
" what…." Donald said, releasing himself from the hug, and smiled.
"You came right on time, you won't imagine how cornered I was then," He said, and Donald
Smiled
" Don't worry, you got me" He said proudly and Jace smiled.
" Right, Donald, Kate is in our class, Ivy class," Jace said, his face full of excitement
" oh see how glad you are, she even turned you down coldly this morning"
" It's okay, you would have done that if it were you," Jace said and Donald looked at him
" You are siding with her now huh," Donald said and Jace smiled instead
" Go, I know you don't want to miss her intro," He said and Jace stood up.
" Alright, see you later" Then he left
" Aigoo," He said in the Korean language means" Oh Goodness"
He stares at him
" I hope things work out between them this time," He said and sighed
" With me and Nala too" He mumbled.
