"They're not gas ghosts, they're just rogue ghosts." One of the old guys corrected.
"The hell is that?" Bardeelus asked, he was far away from fully waking up.
The other said, "When a soul escapes a necromancer, for example, given enough time they can become rogue, and free ghosts. They change colors and everything, all based on their surroundings. They're one of the few creatures who actively harvest the mana, from all the gas around us."
"Doesn't that technically make them gas ghosts?" Audera asked, of all people, because she knew that Bardeelus wanted to ask the exact same thing.
"Not really," The other disagreed, he was irritated and was stubborn about that prior point. "They feed on mana to survive, because their lifeform is fragile. They feed on mana, that's easy to understand, but there actually is a big distinction between them. There are some rogue ghosts, who are mostly made out of gas."
