"Huh, Angel asked me if we have food ready. Who is going to tell her that Alstofo's is closed tonight?" Dante checked his phone as he set it on the counter. "I should respond to the other half of the question." Dante slid his fingers along the screen. 'Land on the roof, stay below two hundred meters in height. Anything over is flagged as an aircraft and we can't certify you.'
Willow stood at the stove as she nudged him with her elbow. "So, what are you planning for propaganda for these two, they aren't quite the signs of peace currently." Willow stirred a five gallon pot of stew as she crossed eyes with Dante.
"Well, first of all, we need to work on what the government is doing to hybrids, the ones with powers and without. We do have hunters with reports, footage and history that show how the non aura wielding hybrids are dealt with." He sighed. "Every single one with any bit of aura has vanished. Reports for the last three years have trickled out that there were once close to thirty. The current report is ten. Most of which are still on the main island." Dante glanced over at his phone, it was too late for it to be anything normal tonight.
James laid on the ground as he held his arms up to the ceiling. "One can be so lost and so far." His arms dropped with a thud as he looked to his left. A news report, he flicked his ability on and used a claw to turn the volume up.
"We are here at a power plant of the government, reports are saying that a hybrid assassin came in here to sabotage the plant and shut down the city. We are speaking with the first ranked hunter Bane about the situation." The lady tucked her dress down as she held the microphone up to the much larger man.
"The hybrid swooped in through the electrical field, shutting it down from the outside and making it to the basement level of the facility. Our guards were massacred, the death toll was in the dozens. Thankfully two guards stood strong in her presence. They pushed her back with their combined efforts and she was forced to flee before she could capture her." Bane leaned down to the microphone. "We are sad to see so much death to cause chaos. Her pale white wings will allow."
Dante turned the television off. "Bullshit. FUCK!" He grabbed his hair in anger as he fell to his knees. "We can't use our most pretty asset to shoot these images if she is directly the image they have for an assassin."
"You then underestimate true beauty, kid." Desmond stood in the doorway as he scoffed. "Angel is one of the most lovely ladies to ever walk this planet. And you think a description of she and pale white wings is what will skew people away from her? When she is priceless." Dante rolled his eyes as Desmond laughed. "You are just like your father at this age, just for different sides of the coin."
There was a soft knock on the door as all of them looked to it. Dante walked closer and looked through the peephole before swinging it open. "Welcome, glad you could find the place!" Dante ushered the two in.
"Rosie, have you seen some of the textiles at my shop, you would fall in love with this one. Red and black with some white accents. Ah I'd die to see you in it!" Amanda was ecstatic and filled with energy as she had her arms filled with hangers filled with clothes with custom fittings.
"You and I both know I don't like that much fancy things." She looked down to see James laying and relaxing. "Why did you move from there to here.
"Because I practiced my biology." James pointed to the book across the room. Flipped open to the part of muscles Rosie squinted to see the exact diagrams he was looking at. "I found it easier, and more painful to reconstruct myself over and over to learn than actually waiting patiently." Rosie's foot tapped rapidly as Dante facepalmed.
"How eye opening, did you enjoy the agony?" Rosie put her foot on the wound. "Was it comfortable?"
"It will teach me not to get hurt like this again I swear!" James waved his hands as the rest lightly laughed. "Its giving me something to do if I can't train!" He laughed a little bit as Rosie sat him upwards in one motion as the rest were watching intently.
"Are those all for Angel? Look at how pretty they are." Willow walked over as she admired each stitch of fabric.
"Yep, Mario asked me to make them fashionable, durable and pretty! I feel like most of the combos of skirts, leggings and long sleeves work well. Her battle dress of light blue and white frills at her wrists look the best, and with her wings each one should be custom fitted to either be put on from below her legs or over the top. With the one exception being." She looked at both arms for a moment as she glazed them over. "The black night gown battle dress. Armored in key spots, but only has a small clip that has nothing on her back side and a clip around her neck to support the top."
"And still no bras that accommodate those with wings? Really? I have to keep using bandages and wraps to keep myself compressed?" Angel stood there as the kid rested his head on her shoulder.
"No these all have built in support, I had to be very accommodating especially on my favorite piece. This stylish purple long sleeve with a chest window. Supports them upwards and compresses them to make them look fuller sweetie." Amanda pulled it out for her as then she paused. "Wait, how long have you been standing there?"
Rosie ran to her side as she looked at the child. "The time you started to show them off. Rosie, be gentle he is very weary from the travels and is highly winded." Rosie snatched him away as he didn't move a muscle. "Dante, what's the news on the posters I need to spread out?"
"Well, you can't spread them around first of all. Secondly there is no point of you as a cover image when we don't have a story." Dante looked over to her defeated as Angel held her phone up. All the pictures of the facilities and the tubing were in each one.
"Wait what?" He paused.
Desmond looked over to the kitchen. "Hey kid, your dad is calling." Dante sprinted and grabbed his phone as he picked up, bolting up the stairs. "What is with the kid you scooped up?"
