Chapter 85 - Creating A New Persona

The prototype moved around a little as the rest of the body parts were gradually tested out by moving each part to test each of their limitations of movement.

After testing out the basic range of movements, it started to position itself from its original seated position to push itself off the ground until it was standing on its two feet.

It walked toward the side of the room where some of its parts had been set aside, so Tiffany began to look over everything.

From the various styles of hair, she picked out a medium-length wig that was silver.

There was purple inner hair on it, while there were some purple hair streaks on it too, and the bangs were blunt as they were only so long that they would not cover the eyes.

Tiffany began to secure it to her head before moving toward the variations of the eyes that were available. "Hmm... which should I choose?"

She searched through each of them before finally deciding. "I will mix and match them!"

She felt like she was creating a character or something similar, so it was fun picking out each thing and putting everything together.

She picked out a red eye and a blue eye rather than picking a matching set of them before finally securing them in place.

The prototype started to have a little more personality to it after having such small features added to it, but she was not yet done.

The last thing that she did was reach toward a mouth mask that had a voice changer added to it, which allowed her to disguise her original voice.

Tiffany may have practiced and done some ventriloquism and puppeteering back at the circus where she lived, but there were limits to how much she could do.

Constantly changing her tone of voice to sound more manly or unlike herself would be troublesome, so she requested that it be built into the mask.

The mask was put onto her face, causing it to cover the lower half of her face, leaving the bridge of her nose partially visible, along with her eyes, while her hair framed the rest of her visible face.

The head had been changed from how it originally looked, but the rest of it was still as it originally was, without any form of clothing or accessories on it, so she moved toward the door.

The door was opened, revealing a black bag that had been left there, so she reached toward it and brought it inside.

The bag was looked through before she started to pull out some clothes, one piece at a time.

A formal white shirt was pulled out first as it was unpackaged, then it was put on her and buttoned up all the way.

A light brown blazer vest was taken out next, as it was put over the white shirt.

A light brown hunting cap was worn over her head before she put on a multicolored polka dot bowtie.

She then put on a pair of brown formal pants and black gloves before finishing it off with a frock coat with a capelet over the shoulders and a pair of black leather shoes.

The overall appearance made her look like she was dressed in a slightly altered detective costume or uniform.

Although she could not see the completed appearance that she had put together, Tiffany was feeling quite pleased with herself. "Now onto the next part!"

She clapped her hands together before packing away all of the other things in the room and leaving.

After travelling along the road, she observed the reactions of the people she passed as she studied how they looked toward her.

The disguise worked quite well, and it did not seem too obvious that the body she was using looked too fake.

Even if some minor parts could give it away, most of those parts had been covered up by the clothing and other accessories that she had put on.

While she was wandering around a little, Tiffany's original body remained inside the car after she retrieved her detached arm and put it back on.

Puck and Butch were looking out for her while she remained immobile and looked like she was sleeping in the car while they drove back to where they came from.

Her original body was already on its way back home while she was busy testing out her new body that would be used for various things in the future.

Since she would just be sitting around in the car for that long, Tiffany used what she had available to her to do what she had already planned to do.

There was a map that had been prepared and a phone along with a couple of other things, like some keys, so she followed the directions on the map to navigate through the streets until she arrived at a small building, which she gained access to using the key.

The space inside was not big since it was only a very small flat that only had the very basics of what would be needed for a single person.

There was only one room to be used besides the bathroom and the kitchen, and they were all connected within the small flat with only small walls and doors between and connecting them.

Tiffany had made use of her money and connections to secure the building in advance before everything else was completed, which allowed her to put her prototype body not too far away from her original position, but not too far either.

Tiffany looked around as she only saw the absolute essentials, while a lot of other things were not included since she would not need them.

There was not even a single chair or bed or other furnishings inside, so she found a spot to sit down after closing the curtains and locking the door.

After settling into her environment, the body went limp once again as her mind jumped back to her original body.

Tiffany woke up inside the car once more and smiled. 'Not bad. Now I can get to work on the next stage of the plan.'
