In the end, the elder said with a sigh, "What can we do to make you trust us? We are only offering to help with the best intentions and we will do what we can to make you trust us. After all, you are our saviour."
With the way that the elder was saying this, it was as if I was forcing it to say this at this point.
Though that thought wasn't wrong since it didn't seem like I was willing to accept them unless I got what I wanted. And in truth, I wanted to see if there was anything that I could get from them.
"Tell me more about the gods and the war between gods that you experienced in the past." I said without any hesitation.
The elder was visibly caught off guard when I said this, but I didn't say anything else as I waited for an answer from the elder.
After a long silence, the elder turned around and said, "Please follow me then."
