Battle and bloodshed were prevalent in Reality, and the gods of light and flames were angered and a bit surprised by the presence of the dragon. They had cleansed the dimensions around them for billions of light years, and there should no longer be anyone foolish enough to stand against them.
Clearly, they were mistaken. Cries of outrage resounded from the gods whose appearances were like Celestial flames given form. Weapons were drawn and spells were chanted, but it was too late.
Vraegar was hunger. His presence ate their fortune and their speed. The weapons in their arms grew heavier, and their spells failed, but the opened maw of the dragon, large enough to swallow galaxies, clamped shut on dozens of the gods. His fangs pierced through their bodies and shredded them apart, as their essence and light were drained into his gullet.
