She washed quickly, and when she came out, she didn't see Bo Yanching in the room. On the table by the window, there was a vase that had been moved, with a bunch of crabapple flowers inside and a simple bracelet made from clivia.
Nan Jiaojiao looked outside. She didn't need to search; Bo Yanching was standing under the magnolia tree by the window, holding a cigarette.
Hearing the footsteps behind him, he extinguished the cigarette before turning around. He flicked the cigarette butt into the trash can and used his other hand, which wasn't stained with the smell of smoke, to hold hers.
"Did you finish so quickly?"
"I just rinsed twice; I only washed my face this morning."
Bo Yanching pulled the towel from around her neck and placed it on her head, gently wiping the water off the ends of her hair.
"There's no rush. You can take your time," Bo Yanching noticed her gaze shift towards the trash can and explained, "I just smoked one to relax; my craving acted up."
