when I woke up, it was dark outside. I could hear the Mercanaries screaming and fighting. When I set my hand down, I noticed that Ken, Mars, and Lumi. were all laying next to me, it seemed I wasn't mistaken, lumi has been healed!?
back to my real point, the sound of fighting came from the gates and past them. I got up, looking out the window towards the gate of the village. It's bright over there like fire is burning!?
is it an attack? or a beast tide?
I jumped up, feeling my fingers all but one that is clenching my fists. I got even more excited to at least see what I could do!
I ran out of the room down the hall and quickly out the front door that slid open loudly. the young nurses looked at me, who just ran past, unable to even speak.
I just kept running in the street. I saw one of the Ravenna Species at a table drinking with an older man. they looked at me as I passed and offered a bit of help.
" Young man It is almost over, but run down alley, Nine to Gain Road, then out the water gate."
" Be cautious they may only be a creature village, but even goblins and kolboldts can be dangerous."
I switched my step, hurried to the alley, he said, and saw it was well traveled. I began at full speed down that alley, seeing light at the end Gain road!
I prepared to turn, but in the corner of my eye, I saw a small green face. I froze, turning around and seeing the few dark places that only small children or animals could hide. something shifted in the dark, and I saw it once again a small goblin ugly and minty green. it was nothing but a baby... I stepped closer to the box it had hidden behind, and it hissed like a cat.
I took two big steps back, thinking about.
"What the hell I do with this!?"
" No hurt, Mama? No Hurt Mint!"
it cooed at me a few times before walking out of its hiding spot!? what the hell else am I supposed to do except care for it...
I calmed it, picked it up, and treated it like a baby. I wrapped it up. I was at a loss for words. Why am I doing this?

" Is there any more of you hiding?"

it looked towards the fighting sound as it cooed.

when I got to the water gate. I saw boats on fire in the water. Magic was being flung everywhere. the cleric was Flinging healing at his companions as they cut down Beasts As they ran from tunnels and Boats Hidden in the harbor.
" You filthy scum dare make a sub village here. Mere Beasts lower than Trash Die Die Die!!!!!"
The cleric yelled as I watched the creatures of all different races run away.
I gritted my teeth as I watched the horror. The goblin child looked at the massacre.
" Mama dead..."
" Papa Dead..."
" Mint A... Alive?"
Its voice broke as I covered its eyes while tears burned my cheeks. I watched it every last minute of it as I vowed to destroy that man and that cleric. They ordered their men to kill all of them without mercy.
I walked back to the infirmary, walking past those men once again.
" Ah, well, it seems that those eyes saw reality instead of grandeur. shame a pity."
I looked at the Ravenna man who said that. as the other elder man's words came through.
" Don't think I can not hear that child's heart. don't panic!"
I did exactly that as I covered the child on my chest.

he swung it at my leg, and I jumped back. it hit my leg but didn't cut it off. I slipped on my own blood as he cast healed on me.
" Hahaha, run around all you like. Do you feel that burn every time I heal you! that's my fire mana, it's called Soul Burn! for those I heal, I can mark with a kind healing hear or a dangerous burn. Eventually, that burn will eat at the souls space, burning you from inside out. The more I heal you, the more I kill you!?"
he ran past me without much effort as he swung the Scythe at my side. I felt my rib crack as he knocked me to the side.
" The beauty of this weapon is it also acts as a clerics mace. You see, it is backed with a hammer of healing. it is imbued with dark healing, so I can beat you all day and knight, but your damage will be more mental when I am finished with you."
he grabbed me. By my head as I whinced in pain, he noticed the differences in my arms.

he swung his Scythe hammers head. I tried blocking with my arms, but it went right through them. I heard my arms break.

I heard a coughing as I looked over, seeing the head of that sick bastard still alive it spoke ragged, but it spoke.
" Hmm, it seems you have hit my core, but I have my back up. give me a few minutes to heal so I can kill you properly!!"
I looked at him as I felt the mana in his brain build from between his eyes.
I had trouble moving, but I gripped that Scythe as he was raving on about getting a limb or two back to strangle me with.
with my one arm, I tried lifting it but was unable to as I felt myself slip on my own blood. I remember him saying something about eating the red block, so I grabbed it from my pocket and munched it quickly, feeling my body burst with energy. I tried lifting once more.
No dice as I fell backward. I Stood Once again, I planted both my feet. Gripped it with both arms As blood stained and went everywhere. lifting the Scythe as my muscles that were ripped. Shot blood up onto my shoulder. I dropped it as the Scythe side hit his head that had started to grow from its neck down. I missed the stop between his eyes.
" Ahh You fucking bastard you dare attack the First Son Petry Azar!"
I gripped that Scythe once more Looking at the black block I ate it and was immediately surprised as he began to sweat and stutter.
I felt it as my guts began to burn my arm. Stopped bleeding as I felt my muscles grow the blood in my body multiplying, made my veins bulge also. I felt mana as it flowed from my stomach to my core.
I Pressed that mana into my veisn focusing on the thread that went to every limb. that is when it hit me.
I grabbed that Scythe with confidence, setting my foot on his head that had grown a neck and a piece of the shoulder he growled at me, trying to bite my shoe that was on his cheek.
" I am a failure, it seems. so let me explain. I was told by a mana beast of a Technique and thought it was secret or something. I like a idiot went and fucked it up. but thanks to you and this block I think I figured something out. I made five threads, Right. you only have one..."
he shut up for a second trying to stall. then answered honestly.
" Yes in the academy they taught us to for a thread to our core to strengthen our mana link. but you say you did five? how is that possible it took so much effort to form one? None the less you will die here!"
