First, because he had decided to do so too late the night prior, he hadn't come across any proper bathhouses, and thus had never gotten to get a proper bath! Although he could indeed set up a bath for himself at the Three Brothers Village, drawing water and setting up a bath for yourself was just a different experience from going to a bathhouse where everything was prepared!
