The other day evening all the students were at the hall having supper with the teachers in front. Liam was slowly getting better. They were all at the hall. Mino was staring at Liam. Liam was sitting with Layla.
"Good evening students, three days have passed already, and two days remaining for our next game. I hope all the teams are making progress to their preparations, we teachers wish you good luck. The next game will be 'The TaG' we will give you more intel about the game on the ground." While Dean was talking one of the students raised his hand.
"Yes, Miller what is it?" His name was Miller, he stood up in front of the students.
"Professors, and my dear students thank you all for this chance. Sir our problem is one thing, since we have remained with two games, as one amongst the students of Santa La Vier elected to speak on other students, we say Liam must be disqualified in the team and you may find another champion to replace him" People were shocked hearing that, even the teachers were. Liam was slowly laughing.
"Why are you laughing?" Layla asked him.
"It's because I knew this was coming a long time ago, these idiots don't trust me anymore" (people started shouting and protesting that Liam shall be replaced)
"Calm down everyone, silence please" All students kept quiet.
"Liam, please stand up and come forward" Everyone was quiet as Liam stood up the teachers were surprised seeing his face. Liam stood up and walked in front of the hall.
"What happened to your face?" The Dean asked him.
"I fell down the toilet and hit my head on a sink" People were laughing.
"So, the students are demanding that we should replace you with someone else, why do you think that Liam?"
"I don't know sir, maybe my behaviour against them"
"Liar, when the game started he was doing just fine, and we really are thankful for what he did in the past games, we all saw what he did, but sir the students don't trust him anymore, judging the past game he was manipulated easily and he has completely changed since then, and judging for his condition now, we don't think that he is up to play anymore" People were supporting Miller.
"What will happen now?" Madi asked Kevin Allyah Sasha Sarah and others were looking at him.
"They will choose to vote"
"Okay we hear you students, and Miller who would you want as a replacement for Liam?"
"All the students thinks that, Lugaina will be fine dor the game" Lugaina was shocked hearing that, she didn't know that was coming.
"I'm sorry did you just say my name?" Lugaina stood up. She was asked to walk in front beside Liam. People were cheering for her. Sancho was staring at her.
"Believe me, I have nothing to do with this" Lugaina said to Liam while standing beside him.
"So my dear students, we will do one thing as we usually do. We will vote for Liam and Lugaina. Please Supreme college and Beauties are allowed to vote since they are all here in the college, now everyone clear the hall and stand in the middle of you" Students stood up and were moving the tables aside for a vote.
"Liam, I don't know any of this"
"I know Lugaina, it's your brother who's behind this" They were talking while looking at Sancho. Sancho was smiling Allyah and Sasha saw that too.
"He's behind this I knew it" Sasha said.
After few minutes the hall was cleared all the students gathered at the middle of the hall.
"Now, as usual, we have two people here in front of you, everyone will be given a chance to speak, after that then you will choose whom you desires. Let us start with Lugaina."
"Hi guys, Miller and who's ever behind this, I am concern about how you feel and how badly you want to win this trophy, I don't know what makes you think I fit to be in the team and replace the only man who's been doing but fighting to make sure he wins the game. I know Liam very well like you all do. But let's say I know him better somehow, one night before the Black water game, I visited him to the medbay tonight, I explained to him every details of the game. I was scared to joing the game, he calmed me down. He was still sick, but he didn't care about all that he took 4 morphines that day, who would do such a crazy idea just to join back in the game? No one he knew all the consequences but he didn't care, he put the games first and jumped in the water instead of me, he has given in so much rather than all of our selected champions. So for me, one mistake is nothing he still has a chance of winning this trophy. Because I still believe in him. But if you guys says otherwise then I will go ahead with whatever the votes conclude. Thats all" Lugaina finished talking. Liam took two steps in front and started talking.
"Hi, I know I messed up, and I messed real bad, I can't bring my self to ask for you guys to forgive me for what I did, no, because we're past that. All we need to focus now is the future of these games. I can't blame you to think that I am no longer fit to play the games, I know because even if I was in your shoes and someone was in mine, then I would do the same. Because all of us needs to win this tournament. As Lugaina said and I will say it again. I will just accept whatever the votes decided, if I lose the votes than I will step down and Lugaina will replace me, but if I win. Then I will only promise you one thing, that this silver trophy will not leave Santa La Vier, that is the only promise I will make it to you Santa La Vier. I doesn't matter how much I've changed recently but one thing is still in my head, and that is to win this tournament. Yes I agree I let my personal life interefead and I lost it, but all of us has made mistakes, the first game, Kevin my own brother made a mistake by letting go of the cat he had, the team was there, the second game Kevin and Sancho messed up, Kevin was badly hurt and Sancho was losing, but the team was there, the third game, Allyah and Sasha messed up, all of us where up waiting for them. Yet the team was there. Now it was my time I messed up, look into it with your decisions, will Santa La Vier be with me or will they turn me down. We lost the game but we didn't lose the tournament, not yet. I don't belive in losing you know why? Because there's no losing, only learning, there's no failure only opportunities and there's no problems only solutions. So to me what failure is, failure is the mother of our success because all we can do is learn and come back bigger, better, stronger coz all is gonna do is lead you in a right direction. If you're always winning and you don't really understand what it is to win. You gotta take those chances, you gotta take those hits, there's gotta be the valleys the picks the ups the downs. When it does happen you will be very proud of yourselves. People believe that a hero is someone who wins, but I believe that a real hero is the one who loses. Because he alone knows the value of victory. I will let you decide my fate" Liam finished talking. People we clapping for him.
