Faced with over two hundred disarmed surrendering Naga mages, Old Liu thought long and hard and ultimately had to grit his teeth and make a painful decision. The Old Swan's exemplary action, which shamed him, was one reason, and the risk of planting more than two hundred time bombs for the Summer Palace Protector Group was another.
However, everyone had confidence in controlling a small number of mage prisoners. Old Liu, Rommel, and other factions all had this in mind; but they seemed to underestimate the Nagas. How could the Naga mages dare to separate from most of their companions? Liu Zhenshock was initially planning to single out and capture the five highest-ranked six-armed Nagas, but this action nearly led to a collective revolt among the Naga mages.
