"My Lord, that person and his wives are staying at one of the most expensive inns in our city. And just as you instructed, our people are keeping a close eye on them." The butler with glasses informed Lady Hexryn professionally.
"Good. Tell them to continue monitoring. Report every move they make to me immediately—no delays." Lady Hexryn nodded, her expression serious as she sat at her study table.
"Those people are extremely dangerous and of unknown origin… we must be extra cautious around them."
"My Lord, I believe you may be overestimating those humans and demihumans. To me, they are not as impressive as you describe." the butler replied.
Hearing this, Lady Hexryn let out a soft chuckle. "You have grown old, Butler Barton… you're not as sharp as you used to be."
"Forgive me, My Lord, but even though my bones are old, my mind remains sharp. Otherwise, you would've replaced me long ago." Butler Barton chuckled lightly.
