Mathilde looked at Mira for a moment and yawned. She stood, scratched her butt, and stretched her back. She grinned and scratched her knee with her toes, standing on one leg as she extended a hand forward.
"No, you aren't Mira. You're the greed inside her." Mathilde's lips twisted into a wicked grin. "You woke me up from my sleep, and you have to pay your debt. Isn't that right?"
No one moved. No one dared to. The Greed Portfolio could feel the insane power burning in Mathilde's chest, and everyone else didn't want to get in the way of whatever plan she came from.
Eris and the other wives were empathetic; they cared about Mira and the kid she carries. They didn't want to harm them, and that was a crucial advantage that Greed needed to survive.
