When Charles arrived at the seafloor, his expression was grave as he looked at the unmoving scene frozen inside the ice on his right—a fully modern bedroom laid out neatly within the ice.
Staring at the smooth bedsheets inside, the minimalist ceiling, and the forest mural on the wall, Charles began to realize that things were getting troublesome.
"I used to think that those Rift Monsters froze this place because the Foundation hid something they needed, but now it looks like that's not the case. Their real purpose in freezing the entire SITE6 is to repair it!"
This, one had to admit, was a piece of truly terrible news. Monsters of the Abyss-Sea would never repair something for no reason. It's obvious they're Foundation maintenance workers!
If reconstruction was still ongoing, then it meant the Foundation wasn't completely wiped out!!
