As I take my first step out of that building I looked up to the blue sky and a beautiful shining Sun. I started walking the path that I usually take home, looking around most of the buildings were destroyed. But what I noticed the most of was the dead bodies, laying around or on the top of the buildings. Some of the dead bodies you couldn't even tell they were human; they were just a pile of mush.
"Uhh it stinks out here"
While I walk down the road, I feel the ground start to shake. I look behind me quickly and I see a monster that's tall as a five-story building. I don't think it noticed me, so I quickly run between two somewhat destroyed buildings. As I look for a place to hide, I remember the symbol on my hand, so I decided to try and use it.
"Ummm make a place for me to hide quickly" I said that in a panicky voice.
I reach out my right hand while I say those words. I didn't even know if it was going to work, but it was worth a shot to try. The symbol starts to glow a bit, as it did roots popped out of the ground a little bit in front of me. The roots made some type of wall, that had a little curve at the top. So, I quickly ran behind the wall. As I did, I crouched behind the wall, and peeked a little bit on the other side to keep my eye on the monster.
With every mighty step the monster got closer and closer to me. As it got closer my heart started pounding and I started sweating profusely. I was getting scared again my breathing was starting to get faster and faster as it gets closer.
The monster is close enough to where I can see it clearly. It kind of looks like a human but it had two sets of arms and huge horns coming from the side of its head with other little horns coming off the big ones. It also had black hair that went down to shoulder level, but not covering it two sets of eyes. The dark hair stands out even more with that pale body of its.
"That thing is huge, it kind of reminds me of a titan". I thought to myself.
While I'm looking at that titan. The lower left eye suddenly looks my way. I quickly duck behind a wall by doing so I fall straight on my ass.
"aa"
I accidentally let out a little squeal. The titan stopped movie. I froze in place for a minute listening very closely. I slowly crawl my way to the edge of the wall and look over just enough where I can see. The titan stands there not moving a muscle. Then it's suddenly shifted its body towards my direction. I quickly duck behind a wall again. Sitting down on the ground with my knees up to my chest and my hand over my mouth.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck w-what do I do"
As I am thinking what to do I hear the titan lift its leg up and bring it down stepping towards my direction. My body is trembling in fear.
The titan takes another step towards me. As it does, I could tell that he was standing right behind the wall. But it couldn't see me because the wall curved in enough on the top to hide me. But I had to think of a way to get out of this situation and quickly.
" Think, think come on Kane. What can you do to get out of this come on"?
While I am thinking I hear the titan once again raise its leg and this time it's coming right down on me.
"The symbol I can use that" I thought to myself.
so, I quickly looked around and I pointed my hand towards a destroyed building. The building only had a few walls supporting it not too far away from me.
"Roots go and destroy that wall over there and make that building fall down, go now"
As I say those commands the roots suddenly shot out through that building destroying the wall making the building collapse on itself. The titan once again stopped and its tracks right before bringing its foot down on me. The titan suddenly jumped to that building shaking the ground beneath me as it lands.
"This is my chance to run"
I said to myself, so I ran as fast as I could to the nearest building that had somewhere to hide in. I ran as fast as I could hiding in a local laundromat, behind won of the dryers. As I am hiding, I hear the titan slamming its fist down on the ground the destroying the building where the roots came from.
"Thank God I made the roots do that. That building could have been me right now" I thought to myself.
after a little while the titan finally stands up and started walking my way. But this time it wasn't coming directly at me, but I was not taking any chances of it noticing me. I covered my mouth with my hands and laid on the floor watching it ever so closely. As the titan passes me a big gust of wind comes by, as it does it blows the titan's hair back just enough for me to see the ears. The titan had four pointy ears on each side of his face.
"That's how it must have been so easy to hear me. With those ears and its eyes, it would be hard for me to sneak pass if I ever see it again" Is what I thought to myself
As the titan walked past me, I let out a sigh of relief.
"hhuu that was to close"
I waited to leave until the ground stopped shaking. When it did, I got up off the ground and wiped the dust off my clothes and face. Then I start heading to a nearby park that would leave me straight to my house. Running through the back streets of what's left of my town, I see a tall pinecone tree I used to climb all the time when the world was still normal. So, I decided to climb it really quickly, all the way to the top to get a good view of how the town looks like now.
"Holy shit" I said to myself
at odd of how bad the town was.
"I knew it was going to be bad, but I didn't think it was going to be this bad. What happened to the cops or the military"?
most of the part of the town where I lived was destroyed and fires burning everywhere. I looked over to where my house is, but I couldn't see it from all the smoke and trees in the way.
After what I had seen from the rest of the town I quickly get down from the tree and start running towards my house.
"The direction where my house is that is where a lot of the smoke is. I need to hurry" I thought to myself.
I started running full speed towards my house. Running into the thick black smoke of the fire nearby. I put my nose in the collar of my shirt holding my breath as I run. I was getting closer and closer to my house. While I got closer to my house the smoke thinned out, I was getting further away from the fire.
Then I came to a sudden stop I was in front of where my house was at.
"What happened to my house"?
