"What is this it feels rough but wet". I thought in my head laying on the ground with my eyes closed.
I slowly opened my eyes and there it was the kitten licking my cheek.
"Hu my body is in pain all over". I thought to myself as I slowly start to get up off the ground.
I looked up to the sky and there was the titan pierced on a giant root with the deep red sky behind it. The titan was hunched over the massive root while its arms dangled down scraping the top of roofs.
"I still can't believe I'm alive". I thought to myself while looking at this huge titan.
As I finally get up on my feet, I pick up the kitten and start walking back to the house. I looked up to the sky, the rip was still there but it looked a little smaller than last time.
"We should hurry up". I said to the cat.
"Meow". The cat said as it climbed up on my shoulder and licked my cheek.
As I got to the house the bag of food was at the front door hanging on a route. I picked it up and moved the roots out of the way of the front door and went inside.
"Man am I tired". I thought to myself while dragging my feet across the floor.
I put the bag of food on the floor, and I start to head upstairs to the bedroom. As I enter the bedroom, I face plant onto the bed. As I did the cat jumped off my shoulders and landed on the bed right by me.
"Hey there kitten, hmm I need to name you something don't I". I say that to the cat as I pet its head.
"Meow"? The cat said as I pet its head.
"Yeah, you're right I guess we can figure it out later we have to get some rest". I say that to the cat as I slowly start drifting off to sleep.
As I drifted into a deep sleep, I had a peaceful dream. I was standing by flowers and off in the distance was a beautiful tree. I didn't know what kind of tree, but I could tell that it would protect me. As I started walking closer to the tree my symbol on my hand started glowing brighter.
"What is this, is my symbol reacting to the tree"? I thought to myself as I walked closer.
As I stood under this tree I felt at peace and felt like I was at home. I put my hand on the trunk of the tree and as I did, I heard a voice.
"Hello there". I heard a beautiful soft voice speak to me; I didn't know who it was.
"Hello". I said back to the voice.
"You must be confused aren't you Kane". The voice said to me.
"Who are you"? I asked the mysterious voice.
"Oh, how rude of me not introducing myself first, my name is Gaia, but you can just call me mother nature". Gaia AKA mother nature said to me with a soft sweet voice.
But for some reason I felt my heart drop and my hands started to shake. But I knew I wasn't in any danger. I just felt this overwhelming presence and it frightened me.
"Don't threaten my child, you are safe here. Nobody will harm you while you're under my tree". Mother nature said to me in a sweet voice.
"W-why am I here Miss mother nature". I tried to speak calmly but I was still a little shaken as I am talking to a God.
"No need for being so formal just mother nature will be fine". She said to me in such a lovely voice.
"O-ok mother nature". I said while getting flustered.
"But back to your question, you are here Kane because I lend you my powers to protect the world". She said to me in a calm but serious voice this time.
"What do you mean"? I asked mother nature out of confusion of what was going on.
"That symbol on your hand proves I gave you some of my power". She spoke to me as the symbol on my hand started to glow brighter.
"So, the power of all the roots and stuff is yours"? I asked mother nature while looking down at my glowing hand.
"Yes, it is just a fraction of my power though in time you will be able to unlock even more". Mother nature said to me softly.
"So, I need to get stronger to unlock more power". I said as I stared at the symbol on my hand.
"Yes, my child but you cannot do it all by yourself, you must go and find others, so you are not so lonely". She spoke to me in a caring tone, like she was caring for one of her own kids.
"Yes, mother nature I will go find others so I will not be alone". I responded back to mother nature.
"Good, my child, make sure you make friends with them. After all you do have the power of mother nature which is the mother of all living things so treat them kindly". She said to me in a motherly voice.
"Yes, mother nature I will find others and protect them". I said to mother nature with a calm voice.
"Now they're my child rest here underneath my tree". Mother nature said to me with her sweet and calming voice.
So, I laid down underneath this beautiful tree looking up at its leaves seeing each and every individual branch spreading off in different directions. All of the individual leaves were beautiful bright green with a beautiful shape. I laid there for a while looking up at the tree and I could see slivers of the sky through the tree. It was such a peaceful place.
"I wish to make the world look like this, a place where you can lay in peace". I said softly out loud.
"Then make the world peaceful again Kane, it will take a while, but I believe you can do it". Mother nature said to me with such an encouraging voice.
It fell as if she was laying right by me staring up into this beautiful tree looking at the sky with me. I truly feel at peace. As I closed my eyes, I started to drift off to sleep. But right as I closed my eyes, I opened them again and I was back on that bed. But I still felt at peace as I looked over on my side. I see the kitten laying there curled up into a ball sleeping peacefully.
"Hey there, I think I found a perfect name for you. Gaia, I think that's a beautiful name for you". I spoke softly to Gaia as I pet her head.
Then shortly after I truly fell asleep dreaming of a dream of a peaceful place on Earth that I can make for others.
I woke up sometime the next day, my body feeling at ease in my mind feeling peaceful. As I woke up, I saw a Gaia right by my face, so I started to pet her.
"Hey there Gaia, today is another day of training, we shall get stronger to make this world a peaceful place once more". I said to Gaia as I pet her head softly.
