Location: Southwestern Edge of Blestemate, The Fallen Pirates Bay
ΦAs a cough leaves my mouth, I say, "The Fallen Pirates bay, or the Land Were Thieves Rest is the first place the Cursed Sea Army used to call their home back when they were just a rag-tag group of Nightmares trying to use their curses to explore the sea, long before they became known as the efficient fighting force that we known them as today.
During the early days, right after Blestemate was created, they used their abilities to move up north and harass the Great Empire of Nero, the legendary land made by their first Emperor, Charles Animus. The Cursed Sea Region was the first region to fully stabilise post the day of the Dark Sun, when the entire land was cursed, due to their ability to still sustain their populations via fishing, which allowed them to conduct these raids to great annoyance of the citizens of the Empire.
It led to increasing anti-Nightmare sentiment and caused multiple issues, but at the same time, it allowed the people to finally gain all the resources the Empire had, since they refused to trade with us. King Charles created the Empire to help all of humanity be connected, and they had cut us out of this.
The Queen hadn't yet united all the regions of the Beast Claw into what we know as Blestemate, so the Cursed Sea Region had no one stopping them from these actions. In the end, the Queen and her Husband at the time would eventually put a stop to it, and as a sign of peace, she made all of the Cursed Sea sailors move from here to another location, to put their past behind them. Eventually, wonderbeasts and other animals move in, forming an ecosystem, and would eventually end with it being classified as a dungeon by Cordum. The glory that once existed in this land is no more, but till today this place remains a sign of our rebellion against our oppressors, this cave in which once held the greatest of warriors in our region is now our base of resistance against the humans who would lock us away from the prosperity we all deserved while spouting ideals of peace and glory to all. And today we shall take it back!"
Φ A Nightmare with giant green fins across their while body, along with sharp teeth and fingers, holding a broom looks at another Nightmare with purple stitches across it's body, two screws across it's temples, and two giant purple tubes sticking out of it's back filled with gold liquid, and says, "Don't you think you're getting a bit old for stories like that Franny?"
"Merid, stop being such a killjoy. The reason we joined Blamator is to help our people rebel against our oppressors."
Looking around the cave filled with countless Nightmares all running around packing boxes filled with weapons, and feeding wonderbeasts, Merid says, "That's the reason you joined, I joined to make some money."
"Stop being greedy. We, as Nightmares, have a job to fight against the villains facing us."
"I have never seen a human; all the bad people I know are Nightmares. All the scandals that happen in our news are done by Nightmares, the vast majority of people who rob corpses here are Nightmares."
Grabbing his head, she says, "Hey, why are you talking like that? You agreed to come here, didn't you?"
"I did, because it would give me the money I needed to buy Kiluvõileib, but the store owner got his hand crushed at an attack by Blamator when trying to steal some ship parts."
Franny holds her tongue and says, "It was probably a mistake."
"No one ever intends to do something bad; that is the baseline."
"Then what's your solution instead of complaining!"
"Nothing. I just know you're nice enough to listen."
Franny stops for a moment, and then Merid says, "But you're also stupid enough to get yourself in danger, so I am here to help you not do something you regret."
"You're an idiot, but I'll let you stay so I can use you as my favourite pillow till I am able to buy a new one."
"You'd be cute if you weren't so obnoxi-."
His words come to an end as a large Nightmare appears in front of both of them. The Nightmare's skin is pure black, and its 7.5-meter body dangles over them. Its body is humanoid in shape with some caveats, its head is beast-like, and the flesh across its face is stretched back like it's a sheet pushed against a human face. Its legs are shaped similarly to a goat's, and its arms are far longer than even a human's body. Emerging from its wrist is a large rectangular block of hard flesh that attaches itself to its arms, and across its back is a giant silver feathered mohawk that continues all the way down till it reaches its butt. The mohawk also moves from his back to the backsides of his arms. In the middle of his body is a giant green core that sends green liquid through its veins that shines a light through its body.
From its mouth it sticks out an elongated tongue that moves over to Franny, making her step back in fright, and from it a mouth appears that says, "Hello, little lady," in a cherry voice.
Franny's mind and body quickly undergo a state of confusion, before the mouth says, "Hi there, I am your boss and I would like to say their been a spillage in the dining room, a bunch of boxes with food fell over, and their pretty heavy, but I am pretty sure your curse allows you to increase your strength."
The giant tubes on Franny's back inject all the liquid inside into her body, increasing her muscle mass, and then move forward, break apart and then reform as giant fists. "Yeah, I will get right on it, boss."
"That's wonderful, but please make sure to take it easy, remember you only have one body."
"I will!" She says with a cherry tone as she dashes off.
The creature turns its body to Merid, and says, "Would you please go with her?"
Merid, cautious, shakes his head and runs off after her. The creature smiles and then hops across the wall, bouncing off each until it lands on a higher level of the base built in the cave, and once he arrives, the men on that level look spooked for a moment before one says, "Dobitoc, you seem to be in good spirits."
With a cutesy voice, he says, "How can I not be? Everyone is preparing for our great assault. I can't be walking around demoralising people. Though I guess my face would demoralise all the new recruits."
"Don't take it to heart, Dobitoc, I am sure that you'd treat them even better than their parents."
"I would prefer a world where that statement sounds ridiculous, but far too many Nightmares are treated are maltreated the less humanlike they look. I guess no matter how much are bodies are altered by our curses, are brains still seek human futures when gazing upon beauty."
One of the men walking by Dobitoc says, "Unlike humans, we can actually appreciate how different we all are. I can assure you that there is no place that makes me feel safer than beside you."
Stretching out his heavy arms, he rubs the man's back and says, "Thank you. Now let's get back to wo-."
Explosion rings through their ears as loud tremors move through the area. Everyone in the cave stares with confusion, and Dobitoc says, "EVERYONE TAKE COVER!"
Far above Fallen Pirates Bay, a large series of Nightmares wearing red and white banners with a golden eagle on them, fly far over the location of Dobitoc and Blamator.
Looking down at the cave attached to a coast, a Nightmare, a man who is a blinding white, and has a curse which radiates a white, shadowy substance, which he forms into a large pair of wings, looks down at the sight beneath him.
Staring at the coast, he sees a dock full of ships, and says, "It seems that they really have been getting supplies from sea. They must have some rather skilled sailors to be able to get past Allpunkt."
The one who first stopped Orb, and his allies, when they first flew towards Blestemate, named Gintaras, says, "2nd seat Šviesis Ceaușescu, should we attack the ships?"
Looking over to him, he responds, "No, Allpunkt can clean up their own mess. I want to finish up our bombing job and go home. Apparently, my son has returned, and I would like to see how much he has accomplished while in Elpída. Because I know he very clearly hasn't taken enough credit for his effort. SEND IN THE NEXT ROUND!"
The Cursed Sky Army of Zenitas drops another bombardment onto the cave, breaking it down little by little. Inside, rocks start to fall from the top onto those beneath them, and seeing this, Dobitoc jumps, and from his fingernail a green liquid appears.
As he smashes his claws right into the rocks, they break and get covered in the green liquid, which melts the stone fragments into nothingness. Then he shouts, "ALL MEMBERS UNDER 2nd SEATS, SKRIE, TAGA, AND TEN'S SQUARDS FOLLOW YOUR PATH, ALL MEMBERS OF 4TH SEATS AIZSARGĀT, KOGUKOND, AND GYVENIMAS SQUADS GO HOLD BACK THE ARMY IN THE FRONT, AND EVERYONE ELSE HEAD TO THE DOCKS AND GET OUR SUPPLIES OUT OF HERE. GUARD YOUR LIVES BUT TAKE WHATEVER CAN FIT IN YOUR HANDS AS WELL!"
The people shaken by the attack quickly start to move, and Dobitoc rush around the area smashing rocks and keeping them all safe from harm. "Trying to bury us, eh? But I am sorry, you cannot just stamp on the rage within our hearts to protect your precious order!"
Dobitoc keeps on smashing through all of the stones, yet as he moves, a fierce battle rages on outside.
Location: The front of the Fallen Pirates Bay
Φ Rushing as fast as I can, I exit the cave, and in front of me lies a battlefield filled with Nightmares warring with each other. No, that isn't correct, the sight in front of me is filled with the Cursed Land Army of Fundamentāls shredding the members of Aizsargāt's squad into nothingness.
Looking at the sight, I look forward and say, "Everyone, we are members of the Cursed Land Region, unlike the rest of our allies in front, we are primed for this battle, don't allow yourselves to fall and go support each area of the battlefield, not allowing even a little bit to fall!" to the squadron behind me.
My soldiers dash forward, under their own commanders, and I follow them until I am greeted by a member of Blamator flying over to me at high speed. Is someone being thrown?
I take a second to start down at my legs, I compress my legs made of springs and jump up to meet and grab the body flying through the air. Then, as I fall down, I turn both my back into a giant spring and bounce off the ground.
Landing, I revert my body into a state similar to a normal human, and look at the body in my hands, the body of a Nightmare with a series of large mushrooms growing out of the back of his blue skin, along with a giant mushroom across the top of his head. Shaking as my eyes recognise the face, I say, "Aizsargāt? Is that you?"
He struggles to speak, and I look at his beaten and bruised body in my hands. "What the hell happened? I know you aren't suited for land combat, but you're still almost as strong as me? Did they spend in the Cursed Heart Army?"
"No. We just underestimated how strong the Cursed Land Army has become despite this generation of peace. The young have caught up to old men like us."
Looking forward, I say, "What the hell do you mea-." Though as my eyes raise from him towards the battlefield, a giant fist slams my face right into the ground.
