As the beast followed the pathway to where the next civilian location was. The assassins had already evacuated most of the people. There were some that had come back from town and had to be moved for safety reasons.
These people were also at the far end of the civilian part of the town. The assassins hoped that the beast would not go berserk and just destroy houses.
When the beast entered the first house. The house did not seem evacuated but it had a feeling that it did happen. It busted through the wall to make to massive holes in the house.
It went straight across the street. Making another hole and not caring that the first house was evacuated.
This house also did not seem like it had been evacuated. There was a certain feeling that the beast got from a room across the hallway.
It entered the hallway and found the room where it had the feeling coming from. It headbutted the wall revealing unused canisters of weird black sludge.
The parasite told the Charged Beast not to mess with that crap. The Charged Beast was curious as to why.
"That shit is not just poisonous but also very addicting to. I have seen Charged Beasts take a lick of one and devour themselves into it which eats up the body from the outside in.
By the time the Charged Beasts understood what had happened. They were just seconds away from death."
The Charged Beast was actually curious if it would work now with the body and this parasite.
"Yes, I can devour a tiny amount. However, the longer we eat this. The better chance that it reverses the both of us and kills us.
As long as you control yourself and lick just one or two. We can get a little power up from it. Just don't eat like a pig."
Getting one of the canisters, the lid naturally just off when the beast tapped on the lid because the parasite told it to.
Once the Charged Beast licked the black sludge. It immediately felt the millions upon millions of parasites invading its body. However, they were not poisonous currently because it was a fresh stock. If he would enter it again, that is what makes them poisonous.
The Charged Beast decided to do something weird. It went for another container. Doing the same motion, it entered the second jar.
Once again, millions upon millions of parasites invaded the body. They all seemed to work together.
The body getting a covering of black armor. Once it had completely gone through all of the jars, it had a completely black armor over the beast.
As the beast decided to just go back through the traps. There was a family that was heading home from town. The Charged Beast decided to follow them.
The assassins already knowing full well that they were just trying to imitate a family returning. They could not have expected the silent treatment from the Charged Beast.
The assassins changed their plans from a family returning home to a set of friends going to visit their friends.
Everyone was on board with this. The Charged Beast laid low waiting for the family to enter. The family walked up the stairs. The father knocked on the door.
This caused the Charged Beast to become angry. It had not followed a family returning home but a family going to visit some people.
The temperature inside the armor grew warm. It had decided to just follow them back to where they had come from. It did not want to take any chances with this armor getting damaged by stupidity.
It followed them secretly. The assassins knew they were being followed. Instead of heading to another house, they had decided to head into town.
This truly made the Charged Beast mad. He had not been able to kill people in the facility, he had gotten into traps and forced to change his direction, and now the only civilian people decide to head into town.
It could not take it anymore. It drew a deep breath and roared into the civilian houses. The houses shook and did not fall. When the Charged Beast finally decided that enough was enough. It drew back in breath.
This caused the houses to crack under the return pressure. When it roared again, the houses were destroyed from the sides blowing apart.
The Charged Beast was happy now. It released some tension and saw most of the civilian houses destroyed.
It walked away. This was kept in frames until the Charged Beast would not look back and the assassins around actually lowered crystal balls.
However, even with how far away the Charged Beast was. It looked back to see the houses still standing. It had been played a fool and a fool not a second time.
