Erik left the training room fatigued but satisfied.
As he walked toward a vending machine to grab a bottle of water, someone called him.
"Hey Erik!"
He turned, with a smile crossing his face. "Hey, Amber. Did you finish training?"
"Yeah, I did. It was tough, but I made some progress today." She moved closer, satisfaction clear in her voice. "What about you? How was your session?"
"Intense, but I'm making progress too." Erik nodded, selecting his coins.
Amber studied Erik with wide eyes. "You've improved quite a bit over the past few months. Shouldn't you rest a little?"
Erik smiled. "I appreciate your concern, but I don't want to lose momentum. I've set a goal for myself and want to reach it as soon as possible. There's still much to do."
He looked at the coin in his hand, then at the vending machine. "I'm getting a drink. Do you want anything?"
Amber thought for a moment before shaking her head. "No, I'm good. But thanks for offering."
