As winds blow the leaves, a young man with white hair, who is lying on the forest floor, wakes up to a shock.
"Huh.....where am I?Is this heaven?"
To his confusion he stood up to find the forest was rather dark and if it was heaven it would be very bright, a river flowing of milk, angels singing and other righteous people. But that was not the case.
"I swore that I was sitting on my office chair before I blacked out"
He thought to himself what was happening then he came to a big realization that he was reincarnated like the main characters he used to read on his light novels. But something was a bit off. He checked around and looked at his body to find he was still wearing the same clothes before he blacked out. Also his memory is incredible that he can remember what happened. Looking around the forest, he was spooked out that it was rather dark and the leaves were dark in color.
He starting thinking and thought this was the part where the main character gets some kind of powers, intel on future events or a system...
Then a green glowing orb came from a nearby bush which almost scared the living hell out of him. The orb then came close to his face and emitted a green glow to which he backed away. The orb then circled him then went a certain direction.
"I guess I am supposed to follow it?"
Rather questioning what was happening, he just went with the flow. Walking after the orb through bushes and branches, which angered him, the orb lowered itself to a rather sharp object which could not be seen well. Then he grasped the object that resembled a knife and kept it in his pockets. Then the orb started to flicker and eventually dim out. It went dark but he continued with explore the dark forest. After what seemed like an hour of exploring, he came to rest next to tree.
Exhausted and still bewildered by how large the forest is, he took out the object that looked like a knife and questioned himself.
"Did I actually die...."
"I remember my father always to work hard but it seemed that was not going to last long."
Tears started to form up on his eyelids and started to look at the object and held it strongly like something important was taken away from him.
"Ash...I wish you were here...."
Then he realized that he was wasting time thinking about his past memories instead of living his new life that he has at his grasp. Finally, he stood up and continued exploring the dark forest. As he was on the verge of giving up, he stumbled across a very high feature which rather gently sloping. He proceeded to walk up the hill before getting tired, at the top he found an entrance to a cave.
"This new life just continues to pique my interest..."
He then laid at the entrance to rest. He then looked inside the cave to find what looked like an ore vein which was mined out half way. This gave motivation that he was not alone in this island after from green glowing orbs. He then crawled to the edge of the hill which overlooked the land but still dark so he was only able to see the base of the hill and the surrounding trees.
Before he looked away, he heard a growl behind him which almost made to piss himself....
"Crap....."
