Collin stepped into his car and drove at the utmost speed. He was frustrated.

Lucia: Hahahaha, now this is exciting news.
Serves you right, little brother.
Lucia sat in her chair twirling a glass of wine.
She just got the word about Eugene and Rose. News really did travel fast.
For some reason the news about them made her excited. Despite the fact she disliked Eugene, the same could be said for her brother as well. She hated Collin's guts and wished only the worst for him.
For what reason, no one knew.

Rose: Why didn't you ever speak to me?
Eugene: I didn't know what to say to you.
Rose: Don't tell me you were shy of me.
Eugene: ....
Rose: My God! You were.
And there I was thinking you didn't like me.
OMG. Tracy was so right?
Eugene: .....
What do you mean?
Rose: Well, she did tell me one time that you liked me, but I never believed her. In fact, I denied it. I am so not your level.
Eugene: Hahaha, why do you say that?
Rose: Excuse me? Have you met you?
Eugene was in awe. He couldn't believe this girl had the ability to turn such a serious conversation into a goofy and funny one.
Eugene: Have you always been like this?
Rose: Uhh... Yeah.
Eugene: Can I ask a question?
Rose nodded. Eugene wore a serious expression. I have told you how I feel about you. I want to know how you feel as well.
And remember, no matter what your answer is, I'd still love you. That, I promise.
Rose's face turned as red as a tomato. Dreams do come true, don't they? And this was definitely a dream come true for her.
She didn't even have to gather up courage because she knew exactly how she felt.
When Tracy told her last time that Eugene liked her, even though she was in denial, she thought about it and asked herself, "What would I do if indeed Eugene liked me?" She pondered over that question and eventually got her answer.
Rose: I'd like to show you instead.
She cupped his face and pulled him in for a kiss. She kissed him deeply, pouring out all her emotions. Letting her lips do the talking. One would wonder how many times they were going to kiss that day.
Eugene then followed suit and returned her kiss with the same intensity. Sparks flew, and time seemed to stop. Rose threw her hands around his neck, grabbing his hair. They couldn't have enough of each other. After what seemed like an eternity, they stopped to catch their breath. Their breathing was ragged.
Eugene tugged the stray hair from her face as they stared at each other.
Rose: I love you too, Eugene.
A smile formed on Eugene's face.
This was the best day of his life. It was for Rose too.
Eugene placed a kiss on her forehead, and she felt safe in his arms. Just then his phone rang.
Eugene: Logan?
Before he could answer the call, his eyes noticed the red laser light reflecting through the glass on the table.
Eugene: ROSE!!!
He quickly grabbed Rose, throwing themselves onto the floor as he shielded her with his body. The sound of gunshots filled the room.

Logan: You better not do anything stupid, Collin.

Man: Miss, his house is currently surrounded.
Tracy: SHIT!
