The next morning Rune awoke with a throbbing headache.
"Ugh..."
He felt like he had been hit by a bull, and he was hungry enough to eat one too. His mind was foggy, but as he came to, he noticed the distinct pressure of hands massaging his skin. They were warm, and he could feel something being stirred inside him with each motion.
His eyes fluttered open and landed on Helga. She was in uniform now, a far cry from her usual state of dress. He had come to learn the Oxen's habits by now, so it was different seeing the camp's second in command fully clothed.
The Oxen were very open with one another. Seeing as they were just waiting for the order to march, the either sent their time training or feasting around the fire.
They frequently got sweaty so their upper bodies were laid bare. This included the women. And when it was time to clean up, they all gathered in the nearby river for a communal bath.
