After about ten minutes, the harsh tones of Rune's screams stopped. Many of the soldiers in the camp feared that he was dead, but Berg had forbidden them from checking on him.
Instead, they all just sat around with grim looks on their faces. Helga, in particular, could not sit still and was glaring non-stop at the commander.
Down in the bit, Rune had never stopped clinging to life. Even as he screamed and thrashed in the dirt, his mind raced to find a way forward.
It hurt. It hurt so much. The pain of having all the blockages in his body forcefully punched through was unimaginable. It was more painful than anything else he had experienced up to this point.
But he kept fighting.
What did all mean? What exactly was Force? How did it flow through his body?
Now having adjusted to the pain, Rune waw finally moving towards the answers to these questions.
