Shiro slid to a stop. All around her--wild towering flames. They burned across the forest and crawled up the mountain. She turned her head to the side where a battle was taking place to see something huge fly past her. The wind from its body brushed against Shiro's cheek as the body landed somewhere behind her with a heavy thud.
She glanced back to see a broken and battered body of a Tunneler. It's flesh was charred and bubbling, and it was without a doubt, dead.
"What...?"
It did not make any sense. There was only one person who could do this, but he was supposed to be too weak at the moment.
Shiro whirled around and ran deeper into the fire. The flames parted around her as she passed to display a chilling scene.
