Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Real Means Real

The sky was azure, not a cloud in sight.

Rosie Scott looked at the sign for [Tyang Entertainment], her heart filled with delight as she strode inside, hoping this would be the place where her dreams would begin.

The girl's appearance was like a young fruit in early spring, carrying anticipation and vision for the future, her eyes glimmering with an enchanting sparkle; all newcomers have this look.

"Hello, I'm here for an interview. This is the email sent by the interviewer. Which floor should I go to?" Rosie Scott opened her phone and handed it to the receptionist.

The receptionist, a lady with heavy makeup, had a sneer in her eyes from the moment she saw Rosie Scott. She glanced at the information on the phone and thought: another obsessive fan pretending to blend in with fake information.

"You can't go up without an appointment, even if you have email information, I can't let you up."

Rosie Scott frowned slightly, realizing the receptionist's hostility. Despite a thousand indignations in her heart, she could only suppress her anger for now.

"I'll make a phone call first." The girl walked a few steps and sat down on the sofa in the service area.

The receptionist rolled her eyes, plastering a fake smile and muttering: Nowadays, obsessive fans are really rampant, using every trick to sneak into [Tyang Entertainment]. Do they even know what place this is? Do they think a bit of charm is enough to get in?

The girl heard her words and looked back deeply; an obsessive fan? Do I really look like one?

The receptionist felt the intensity of her gaze and suddenly, her temper flared like water splashed into hot oil, swaggering over with a twist of her hips, "Miss, if you didn't get through, please leave Tyang Entertainment soon. Our resting area isn't for obsessive fans."

Was she already deemed an obsessive fan based on her words?

It's truly unreasonable; although she was eager for the interview at Tyang Entertainment, she wouldn't allow anyone to belittle her like this.

Rosie Scott looked at the unconnected call, simply hung up, and slowly stood up, neatly tucked her long hair behind her ears; she stood at a clean height of 170, with a good physique, her straight posture towering over others in both aura and stature.

"Defamation carries legal implications, lady, are you really going to repeatedly slander others?"

"What did you say!"

"I said you're bullying people with your power, don't understand?" The girl lowered her voice, uttering each word clearly to her.

"You—"

At this moment, a black nanny car drew up outside Tyang Entertainment, followed by a swarm of sign-holding fans, their screams instantly filling the air.

The receptionist and Rosie Scott's eyes were drawn to the man alighting from the nanny car.

"Blake Shaw! Be sure to take care while filming, don't get hurt for anything!"

"Blake Shaw! This is the letter we're giving you, please accept it."

"Blake Shaw, we love you, forever love you!!!!"

"Shaw, Shaw, reigning beauty."

Rosie Scott's eyes warmed, the air she expelled searing her throat, causing the blood throughout her body to boil.

She saw a tall, silver-haired man emerging from the crowd, his eyebrows finely shaped, eyes like they're holding a galaxy full of stars, even looking at dogs with deep affection.

Blake Shaw!

The girl involuntarily moved closer, her steps slowly accelerating, something inside her seemed to explode as the fans at the door were stopped by security, Blake Shaw wearing the latest Bulgari suit, like an aristocratic prince, looked radiant.

Her idol stood right there.

The man's dimples when he smiled were charming, he waved to bid farewell to fans, then turned and saw a girl with heart-shaped lights in her eyes, looking blankly as if mesmerized.

The receptionist saw her demeanor, knew she was right, fans or haters often pretend to be interviewees, sneaking into Tyang Entertainment just to approach these big celebrities.

"I knew you were an obsessive fan, pretending to audition! Security, get her out."

"Kick this obsessive fan out!"

As Blake Shaw entered the company, he immediately saw her.

In this beauty-filled entertainment world, he had long developed immunity to good looks.

But, upon seeing the young girl, he couldn't help but glance a few more times, her clear gaze was irresistible, a pair of big fox eyes.

The girl's pure and intense gaze made him feel like he was in another world.

Not like the fans' gaze filled with lustful admiration, she resembled the clearest lake in the sacred region, pristine, rippling slightly.

The man saw the receptionist calling security, and the dazed girl still unmoved. He didn't actually need to intervene; perhaps the girl really was the obsessive fan as the receptionist claimed.

Yet, the man instinctively reached out to stop the security: "Did you say you're here for an interview?"

Rosie Scott stared blankly for a long time before retracting her lovestruck look, nodded woodenly, saying just one word: "Yes."

"Shaw, there are many obsessive fans nowadays pretending to be interviewees to infiltrate companies. We've caught many. For the artist's safety, we can't let her in so easily. If anything happens, I can't bear the responsibility." The receptionist was persistent in keeping Rosie Scott from going up.

"Whether she's an obsessive fan isn't determined by your claim."

Blake Shaw gave his assistant Lisa a look, and Lisa quickly took the cue, pulling the receptionist aside to explain in detail; seeing her idol, Rosie Scott remained as silent as a poisoned peacock, lips pursed with a smile, her little eyes drifting around, but always landing back on Blake Shaw's face.

Blake Shaw caught her gaze and smiled openly: "Come, I'll take you up."

The girl's pupils trembled slightly, instinctively saying: "Okay."

Blake Shaw led her through the artists' exclusive elevator, his peripheral vision catching sight of the blushing girl, trailing him in tiny steps like a duckling following its mother.

"Still in school?"

"Yes, sophomore year."

"Why do you want to become an actress?"

"Because..."

"Don't say it's because of me, such words are too false."

The girl blinked, her clear eyes showing confusion. She hesitated for a long time, finally looking at him: "False?"

The elevator dinged, arriving at the floor, Blake Shaw saw the sincerity in her eyes, his heartbeat quickened. Having been in this fake world too long, the first instinct when seeing something genuine was to wonder if it was an illusion.

He felt the girl possessed an unwavering vitality, a sense of exuberance.

"Truth is false, false is true, the outcome what's not important."

"I'll prove it to you," the girl's eyes shone brightly, looking at Blake Shaw with conviction: "Real is real."
