Elise Don and Annie sat on the ground beneath the window, surrounded by a circle of broken mannequins, munching on burgers and chicken drumsticks.
Annie had been waiting with an empty stomach for a long time, thinking Elise Don had forgotten about her once she found company. To her surprise, Elise returned so quickly and hadn't eaten yet.
