Even though the MC is transmigrated, it's important to remember that he has fully merged with the original Harry's soul. He isn't just a new person in Harry's body; he's a true fusion. He has all of Harry's memories, feelings, and core personality traits blended with his own. This is why you'll see moments where he acts very much like the Harry we know from the books—that part of him is still very much alive and influential.
Also, a quick note on the first few chapters. The soul merge was a chaotic and traumatic event, which is why he came across as a bit unhinged at the start. Apologies if I didn't get that point across as clearly as I could have!
