Once Benjamin Chu drove away, Polly Sutton went to her father's room, seeing the mess all over the floor. Did he not realize how valuable these things were?
"Come in if you've seen enough."
Polly Sutton leaned against the wall as she entered, "What did my father-in-law do to provoke you?"
"Have you not considered it might be me who provoked him?" Lucas Rook glared at his daughter, "You've been busy all afternoon; why aren't you resting?"
"You and my father-in-law were about to fight, how could I not come and take a look?" Although she was involved in this matter, "Is it really about the crabapple flowers? My father-in-law wouldn't be so petty, right? My mother has been gone for so many years now."
