Victor had finished planting the remaining crabapple flowers, and when he returned, he found Polly Sutton asleep at the table.
Victor sat down next to the table, looking at the sleeping person. Clearly just such a small person, yet how does she possess such great energy? If it were him handling these matters, perhaps he wouldn't know where to start.
But whether in City A or here, she can manage very well.
Victor sat for a while before picking Polly Sutton up.
Polly Sutton, half-awake and in a daze, mumbled but didn't fully wake up, "Is it all planted?"
"It's all planted. I'll take you back to sleep," Victor said, carrying her back.
Polly Sutton yawned, "No, Tommy just got bitten, I'm afraid he'll get a fever. I have to watch over him."
"Finish the big things before the small ones. Do you think you're a superhero? Get some rest first. He seems to be a case of forgetting pain once the wound heals, off playing somewhere now."
