Polly Sutton spent the entire morning in the doctor's office, going through all the complications, listening to everything. She's not a doctor, so even after hearing it, she doesn't fully understand many things.
"Thank you." Polly Sutton stood up to see the doctor off, massaging her neck and glanced at the notebook on the table, filled with all the notes she had just taken.
"Everyone thinks they're invincible, living past their prime, their bodies full of issues, what's the point?" Polly chuckled, grabbed the notebook, and walked out, estimating the time Victor Parker would wake up.
In the hall, the two elders were still playing with the two little ones; none dared to look at Polly Sutton.
Polly walked over and tossed the notebook onto the table, "Which one of you will talk to me first?"
"Your dad." Benjamin Chu answered directly.
Lucas Rook gave him a cold look, "Your father-in-law."
