The boy was holding his head, still dizzy and disoriented, while the girl beside him kicked him and said, "Useless."
Then she pointed at Bella Meyer and said sarcastically, "Do you know these clothes I'm wearing are custom-made? Selling you wouldn't even cover them. Oh, wait, once you marry that old man, you'll be able to pay for them."
Bella Meyer looked at the three of them: "What did I do? Where did you get this from? You're all dirty and stink of sourness."
As she spoke, Bella Meyer pinched her nose, looking intolerant.
Mr. Meyer came over just in time to see the standoff among the four children.
"What's going on here?" Mr. Meyer frowned, looking at the three dirty children, and asked.
Mr. Meyer usually appeared quite cultured, but apart from Zoe Meyer, the other children were quite afraid of him.
