When Charlotte Allison came over, she was on the phone, and from her tone, it was clear she was talking to Lucas Quinn.
"Alright, I know, we'll video call later, mm-hmm."
She ended the call, put away her phone, and walked over.
"When is your little handsome guy coming back?" Sarah Joseph tilted her head and smiled at her.
"He didn't say, probably not coming back very soon." Charlotte looked down at Proud, who was wagging its tail happily at her, and bent down to rub its head.
Sarah Joseph walked with Proud and Charlotte as they strolled together.
"There's an international jewelry design exhibition in Country Y soon, I need to prepare for it, and right after that, there's the spring fashion show. They've invited me to be a consultant, so I'll be quite busy this period." Sarah stretched lazily, pretending to be at ease.
"Take this time to sort things out, it's good." Charlotte knew she wouldn't avoid her feelings for Martin Fernandez, she just needed time to process them.
