"If the young man likes cats, when they're about two months old, you can take one or two home to raise," John suggested.
Charlotte Allison noticed a shadow pass over the young man's eyes as he gently touched the white kitten, then another kitten that approached. Her tone was somewhat dejected, "Thank you, but no need."
"I'm giving them away, don't hesitate. If you like them, you can take them home once they're weaned," John said.
He's getting older and can't care for so many kittens, so they're all to be given away. The previous litter was also given to neighbors who liked cats.
"John, he's not being polite; he's still in school and doesn't have time to care for kittens," Charlotte made an excuse for Lucas Quinn. She noticed the young man did like them, but since he said no, he must not want to raise them.
"Oh, I see." John laughed and urged the two to have breakfast first.
