Alohul Kingdom and The Alhu People
The Alohul Kingdom, despite being the largest in geographical area, supports the fewest citizens due to its severe and unforgiving terrain. Situated in the extreme north, the kingdom experiences a prolonged winter lasting eight months of the year. The Alhu people typically possess fair complexions, characterized by a prevalence of blond and brunette hair, complemented by striking blue or hazel eyes. Its southern frontier abuts the kingdoms of Hmagol, Gimsong, Kosanz, Sampo, and Arrazech.
Arrazech Kingdom and the Arkmeric People
The Arrazech Kingdom is located on the far eastern edge of the map. This long, narrow kingdom stretches from the Alohul Kingdom in the north all the way south to the Skouji Kingdom. While it shares borders with many kingdoms, Arrazech is largely isolated from the rest of the kingdoms by the Goronto Tips, a long, rocky mountain range that acts as both a natural border and a defensive wall. Due to its challenging, rocky terrain, Arrazech is rarely involved in conflicts with other kingdoms and the Arkmeric people maintain good relations with the Kosanz, Ofleisia, and Skouji kingdoms.
Biyla Kingdom and the Biizen People
The Biyla Kingdom is situated southeast of the Usama Kingdom, sharing its borders with the kingdoms of Zasra, Noncho, Tanggolia, and Ofleisia. While the Biizen people enjoy good relations with the Tanggolia Kingdom, they face ongoing issues with the Ofleisia and Usama Kingdoms.
Buyant Kingdom and the Yantzee People
The Buyant Kingdom is a small realm situated east of the Biyla and Zasra kingdoms, nestled directly between them. It shares borders with Zasra, Arrazech, and Biyla kingdoms. The Yantzee people maintain good relations with the Noncho Kingdom.
Gimsong Kingdom and the Ginmiao People
The Gimsong Kingdom is a small realm whose western border is naturally defended by the Whitefang Peak. Its entire eastern border and half of its southern border are shared with the Kosanz Kingdom. Gimsong also shares a small section of its southern border with Hmagol, where the strategically important city of Nue-Li is located. The Ginmiao people have a long-standing enmity with the Magoli people, stemming from ongoing conflicts over Nue-Li City.
Hmagol Kingdom and The Magoli People
Situated on the far eastern reaches of the land, the Hmagol Kingdom stands as the fourth largest kingdom in the land, uniquely defined by its extensive coastline. A significant eighty percent of its western flank directly borders the vast West Sea, granting it considerable maritime influence. To the north, Hmagol's territories meet those of the Alohul and Gimsong Kingdoms. Its eastern boundaries are shared with the Payapasa and Umusa Kingdoms, while to the south, it shares a frontier with the Tanggolia Kingdom.
The Magoli people are renowned for their exceptional skill in both mounted combat and archery. Their prowess on horseback, combined with their accuracy with a bow, makes them formidable warriors. Beyond their martial skill, they are also known for a strict code of honor: they never leave any soldier behind on the battlefield.
Kosanz Kingdom and The Kosian People
The Kosanz Kingdom holds the distinction of being the third-largest realm, geographically. Its northern frontier is dominated by an extensive shared border—approximately ninety percent—with the Alohul Kingdom, while a smaller northern section touches the Sampo Kingdom. To the south, Kosanz shares a limited boundary with the Hmagol Kingdom. Defined largely by its rugged, rocky mountainous terrain, Kosanz has adopted a policy of strict neutrality, fostering a deep reliance on its neighbors for vital trade and essential support.
Noncho Kingdom and the Nochoasi People
As the second smallest realm, the Noncho Kingdom occupies a precarious position south of the Biyla Kingdom. Its northern boundary is defined solely by its shared border with Biyla. To the east, and along the majority of its southern flank, Noncho abuts the expansive Tanggolia Kingdom, while a smaller portion of its southern frontier meets the Ofleisia Kingdom.
The Nochoasi people have adopted a pragmatic strategy for survival. They secure their kingdom's peace by consistently paying annual taxes to all bordering nations, effectively ensuring their sovereignty against potential invasion. Beyond these diplomatic payments, the Nochoasi have also forged a particularly strong bond with the Buyant Kingdom through a strategic marriage alliance, showcasing their clever use of both economic and social ties to maintain stability.
Ofleisia Kingdom and the Osian people
The Ofleisia Kingdom occupies a strategic position, lying to the east of the powerful Tanggolia Kingdom and south of the Biyla Kingdom. Its frontiers are shared with a diverse set of neighbors: Biyla, Tanggolia, Skouji, and Arrazech.
The Ofleisian people are defined by their deep and influential connection with the Tanggolia Kingdom. This bond is particularly robust due to significant inter-royal marriages; Ofleisia is the homeland of Prince Koa, husband to Tanggolia's Prince Xiyan, and Princess Pua, wife to Prince Zhiming. This strong matrimonial alliance translates into tangible military support: the Ofleisians readily supply Tanggolia with vital troops, essential supplies, and skilled weaponeers, underscoring their commitment to this powerful partnership.
Payapasa Kingdom and the Paayasian People
The Payapasa Kingdom occupies a pivotal geographical position. It shares its entire northern expanse with the Kosanz Kingdom, its southern border completely with the Zasra Kingdom, and its western frontier fully with the Hmagol Kingdom. To the east, Payapasa's land meets the formidable, towering heights of the Goronto Tips. This kingdom is renowned for its immense wealth, a direct result of its advantageous location. Furthermore, Payapasa holds historical significance as the birthplace of Empress Yan, who currently reigns as the Empress of the Tanggolia Kingdom. The Kingdom is known for their sophisticated trade networks.
Sampo Kingdom and the Polisian People
The Sampo Kingdom holds the distinction of being the smallest realm, situated in the uppermost reaches of the northern lands. This diminutive kingdom shares its frontiers with the formidable Alohul Kingdom, the influential Kosanz Kingdom, and the eastern Arrazech Kingdom. Its rugged terrain prevents self-sufficiency, forcing Sampo to rely heavily on its neighbors for sustenance and support, much like Kosanz. Despite its sovereign status, it's often informally referred to as the "little brother" of Kosanz, underscoring their close ties and Sampo's dependence.
The Polisian people have secured a vital alliance with the Kosanz Kingdom through a marriage pact, which is crucial for their survival given their kingdom's challenging environment. This bond highlights their pragmatic approach to diplomacy and their ability to navigate their precarious position through strategic relationships.
Skouji Kingdom and the Jikee people
The Skouji Kingdom is positioned in the southeastern reaches of the land, specifically to the southeast of the Tanggolia Kingdom and directly south of Ofleisia. Its borders are shared with the influential Tanggolia, its northern neighbor Ofleisia, and the eastern Arrazech. Skouji also holds a unique familial connection, being the birthplace of the princess who wed Prince Zhiyuan.
While the Jikee people generally foster positive relations with the overall Tanggolia Kingdom, their allegiance is notably nuanced. Their strongest loyalty is reserved for Prince Xin Jianping, the ruler who governs West Tanggolia.
Tanggolia Kingdom and the Tanggolian People
Nestled in the southern reaches of the land, the Tanggolia Kingdom holds the esteemed position of being the second largest realm. Its western flank boasts an expansive coastline along the West Sea, a key factor in its prosperity. A defining geographical feature is the Dej Lia River, which originates in Hmagol and dramatically carves its way through the very heart of Tanggolia. This river's presence has led to a fascinating political structure, giving rise to the saying, "the kingdom of one ruler, two kingdoms," referring to West Tanggolia and East Tanggolia. Tanggolia's immense wealth is directly attributable to its highly successful and far-reaching trading operations.
The Tanggolia people are driven by a long-standing historical grievance: they aim to reclaim the southern part of Hmagol. This territory was lost to the Magoli soldiers many hundreds of years ago, and its recovery remains a significant aspiration for the Tanggolia.
Umusa Kingdom and the Musian People
As the fifth smallest realm in the land, the Umusa Kingdom occupies a distinct position north of the Zhongqiu Kingdom. Its eastern flank is almost entirely dominated by a shared border with the Hmagol Kingdom. What makes Umusa truly remarkable is its enduring conflict with Tanggolia: despite its diminutive size, Umusa has been at war with Tanggolia for many years, a struggle the larger kingdom has consistently failed to decisively win. The kingdom's landscape is a striking blend of verdant, lush mountains and sweeping grasslands.
The Musian people share a notable characteristic with the Alhu: they possess dark skin. Their most formidable trait, however, is their unique bond with nature's apex predators. The Musians are renowned for raising and training tigers to fight alongside them in battle, a practice that undoubtedly contributes to their unexpected resilience against Tanggolia. Given their ongoing struggle, the kingdom relies heavily on support from other realms to sustain itself.
Wailldom Kingdom
Nestled between the Hmagol Kingdom and the Gimsong Kingdom lay the small Wailldom Kingdom. This territory was once a part of Gimsong Kingdom, but the late Gimsong king's neglect allowed the Mayor of Nue-Li City to break away. He established himself as the new ruler, making Nue-Li City his capital and annexing Zaoging and Suina Cities. In an effort to secure his fledgling kingdom, he forged an alliance by marrying a princess from Hmagol. This action infuriated Gimsong's late king, who retaliated by deploying fifty thousand troops and completely destroying the Wailldom Kingdom.
The massacre of the entire royal family of the Wailldom Kingdom, including the newly wed Hmagol princess, incited the Magoli to wage war against the Ginmiao in Nue-Li City.
Zasra Kingdom and the Razaasia People
The Zasra Kingdom holds a significant position on the map, situated to the east of the formidable Usama Kingdom and directly north of both the Biyla and Buyant Kingdoms.
The Razaasia people have forged a particularly strong alliance with the Tanggolia Kingdom, bolstered by the fact that it is the homeland of Prince Xian Jianping's wife. This diplomatic tie underpins a shared, ambitious vision: the two kingdoms are united in their desire to bring down the Umusa Kingdom and subsequently claim the valuable southern territories of the Hmagol Kingdom. This common objective paints Zasra as a kingdom with clear expansionist aims and powerful allies.
The Razaasia are best known for their exceptional archery skills. Interestingly, and in stark contrast to many other cultures, they are also known for never collecting their fallen soldiers from the battlefield.
Zhongqui Kingdom and the Zonisi People
The Zhongqiu Kingdom lies directly south of the Usama Kingdom and to the northeast of Tanggolia. It shares borders with the Usama, Tanggolia, and Biyla kingdoms. Due to its strategic location, Zhongqiu maintains a neutral stance and enjoys good relations with its neighbors. They diligently pay annual taxes to both the Tanggolia and Biyla Kingdoms, a crucial diplomatic measure that guarantees their kingdom's safety and prevents potential invasions.
