Rena's mother scoffed at what she had just said, finding it impossible to believe.
"You a pilot, I find that highly unlikely as you are a mere cadet. The lowest of the low amongst the ranks of those who put something shiny on their chests so they can feel important when they couldn't cut it in the cutthroat world of corporate business or pass university entrance exams. Even if by chance you were a student pilot, they would never allow you to pilot an aircraft before you even get remotely close to finishing your training."
"I would sooner believe that you were woken up with a kiss from an angel this morning."
Cadet Rena Riley held in the laughter and ranting she wanted to unleash on her mother and kept it to just a small smirk appearing on her lips as she quickly glanced at Commissioner Justin Vaughn, wondering why he wasn't saying anything to verify her status as a pilot when he already commended her for her excellent flying early.
