Inside the Boss's room, Black Lion was not greeted by a cavern at all—but by another world entirely.
It was vast and endless, a glimmering expanse of blue-white light and deathly silence. What should have been a room with walls and ceilings was instead a frozen world beneath two twin moons.
The ground beneath their boots was snow, and before them stretched a great Crystal Lake that shimmered like glass. Its frozen surface reflected the sky—two pale moons glowing above, stars scattered like frost, and ribbons of aurora painting the horizon with shifting colors.
The air was cold enough to sting their lungs. Every breath came out as steam. Every movement made the ice whisper and crack faintly underfoot.
For a long moment, no one spoke. They simply stared, tiny shadows in an endless blue-white night.
