Witnessing the scene in front his eyes Lennox asked Ryan to explain. He stood up from his chair walking towards their side. Ryan snorted his face refusing to reply at Lennox.
"I asked you, what happened to her?" asked Lennox.
"It's not any scary to get stab. She only got this way due to her carelessness. She would have die if I did get there in time." Ryan stated with a firm tone.
Riley lifted up her upper torso saying, "Don't lie, I would have handled myself fine even if you did show up there," Riley firmly stated with a serious glare at Ryan.
"How were you going to do that when you're about to be cut down?" Ryan asked.
"I was just a breather before I strike him down for good!" Riley firmly nodded her head replying. Ryan abruptly shook his head noticing that she was never going to admit need his help; What a proudful woman she is.
He slightly smiled leaning his hands at Riley side. Ryan abruptly examined her wounds if they were quite serious. Riley became flustered when he lifted up her clothes. She tried to stop him but he was not barging.
"Hey, you know I still a girl right?"
Ryan calmly nodded his head Andrew replied, "Yeah sure, I can obviously see that. I have treated many wounds in my life including women too."
"It's not that I am girl, you cannot just start touching me like that," Riley said explaining herself towards Ryan.
Ryan frowned his eyes seeming to be confused by her statement. He was only trying to treat her wounds not anything else, she was overreacting at nothing. He was used to treating many kind of people including he did not separate which person he choose to treat.
Aside slightly laughed towards him, Lennox finded Ryan cluelessness to be amusing. He mocked Ryan for his straight forwardness and he pointed out his mistake. He explained that he should ask for permission before touch a lady body. It was the brutal truth he had to expect as a man, that even if a woman is grievously hurt he should ask before treating them.
Riley gradually nodded her head agreeing a bit with Lennox words. She abruptly stated that Ryan should have asked for her treating her wounds. She felt uncomfortable when he pulled up her top. Ryan widened his eyes he wondering if times have changed so much since his been travelling. Before he would have treated any women without needing any permission at all.
"Don't worry about it he won't get it at all. I am starting to question about who taught him manners," Lennox said.
"Ryan coldly glared looking at Lennox face saying, "Don't you dare ask about my past!" Lennox suddenly felt a chill creeping towards his back. His body froze up could even blinked his eyes and moves his whole body.
Ryan went back towards attending Riley wounds, he lifted up her top seeing the injury up close. He was shocked to see that Riley wounds were already healing by themselves.
Riley snorted her expression mentioning that due to the poison she suffered on her fight with Russ, her healing was moving slow. Ryan widened his eyes with a puzzled look. He could see that she was quickly healing up but she said it was healing slow.
"You know I tried to hold myself from asking this. But what are you?" Ryan pulled back his hands let going of Riley clothes.
Court off guard by the question Riley frowned her expression looking at Ryan. Ryan stood up straight towering above her body. He asked her again with a serious facial expression.
Lennox looked up confused at Ryan question. He questioned his reason of asking her that. Ryan firmly explained that Riley power and healing ability were not normal at all.
He explained her purple demonic aura and fast healing ability. At first he brushed it off as nothing more, but right then she was poisoned and grievously wounded she was acting nothing just happened.
Riley frowned her face looking up at Ryan face. She sighed through her mouth seeing no reason to hide her secret for them any longer. "I am a demon."
Lennox widened his eyes with a shocked expression. Ryan slightly laughed regretting to not noticing the similarities of her demon aspects; Her demonic aura should have been the first thing he noticed including her abnormal healing ability.
"You're a demon! How is that impossible I thought demons lived in the demon realm?" Lennox asked with a puzzled look.
"Why do you think demons only live in the demon realm? We have been living here in the mortal realm for along time now," Riley replied. Lennox expression widened even more due to her words.
Ryan smirked looking at Riley saying, "I really thought you were smart but I spoke to soon. It's foolish of you of you to mention that to him. You should learn to keep such things to yourself."
Riley abruptly closed her mouth knowing that she just said too much. She stated the two should forget her every word. Ryan laughed at her request to forget her words.
"What are you saying right now?!"
Lennox questioned her words to forget everything. He mentioned that she should have never told them in the first place; Secrets like hers should be closely guard to their chest.
"Are your friends demon also?" asked Ryan. Riley casually nodded her head.
Realizing her mistake again she covered her mouth with her hand. Ryan slightly smiled shaking his head. He did not think demons were still entering the mortal realm. It has been so long since he last encounter one.
"You're not so bright in the head I see," Lennox casually stated with a dull expression.
"Who's talking, I am a cyclops!" Riley said with a sarcastic tone. Lennox gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. She firmly glared between his eyes.
"I guess demons are still entering the realm, but I thought the gates were shut from entry long time ago," Ryan stated.
Riley abruptly stared at Ryan refusing to answer him. Ryan casually laughed at her quietness. He slowly calmed the angry Lennox standing beside him.
"What type of demon are you?" asked Ryan.
Riley calmly thought before answering him. "I am shadow demon." Ryan quietly nodded his head seeming to know what she was.
"How did you hide your fixtures?"
Riley lifted up her left sleeve showing a mark in her arm. The mark was the thing that was hiding her demonic fixtures appearing as a normal human. But the mark could not hide her power.
"How do you know so much about demons?" Riley firmly asked looking at Ryan.
"I have been in war and I have seen my fair share of creatures during them. It's no surprise that I could recognize you our demonic power." Ryan explained his encounter with demons in his past during his war days. Before he became an adventurer he was serving the kingdom of Eden military.
During his time at the battlefields he encountered many creatures including demons as well. He fought them as they fought on opposite sides, his losses and wins towards them were what grew him to be this strong. He proudly stated with a large smile on his face.
"Hey, how did you find out about my friend? I don't remember disclosing that information when we meet. So how did you find out about them?" Riley frowned her eyebrows asking.
"It doesn't mean if I'm all on the road I do not have information about back at home. I am always in touch with Vera with things that is happening at the guild," Ryan replied. Riley sighed her mouth, she casually nodded head.
"What brought to the mortal realm?" Ryan asked.
Riley frowned her eyebrows saying, "You're asking too many questions." Riley casually avoided Ryan question. She knew that she was reveal too much of her secrets, she knew that she had to avoid Ryan soft questions. Ryan slightly smirked looking at Riley side.
