When Liam heard her question him in return, he became even more displeased. He had already told her several times that unless it was an emergency, she shouldn't come to him, yet she still came over.
Now she was trying to push the blame onto him, which irritated him. He retorted directly, "Weren't you the one who said it was urgent and had to tell me now? I already told you, it could wait until later."
Susan was momentarily stunned by Liam's reply; his response indeed left her speechless. She just wanted to be with Liam.
Moreover, she wanted to be with Liam at night, thinking their relationship might progress further.
But she reacted quickly this time. Realizing Liam's emotions weren't right, she immediately explained, "No, no, it really is urgent. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come immediately."
