While everyone else was marveling at Wu Kong's actions, and wondering what his intentions were, and marvelling at his genius, the Innkeeper stared at the screen with a little more understanding about the situation - for once actually living up to the reputation he had.
He knew for a fact that Wu Kong had long wanted to enter the Primordial Garden. While it was true that a lot of people wanted the same thing, it was obvious to him that Wu Kong had a specific purpose in mind.
While he did not know that specific purpose, nor did he intend on prying into his personal matters, it was obvious to him that this very small orb that he had obtained might have been one of his primary purposes within the garden, if not the primary purpose. Of course, all this could just be a ruse to hide his actual intentions, but since Lex could not think things with the same depth as Dao Lords, he would not bother with it.
