Wu Kong was an enigma that even Dao Lords could not understand. His means and methods were one thing - even his motives were beyond all of reality. The concept of a main body and a fake body did not exist between him and his clones, as far as anyone could tell, and he completely lacked the pride and demeanor of a Dao Lord.
He was shameless, yet he liked to make friends. Unfortunately, sometimes being his friend was worse than being his enemy, for it was harder to slap a smiling face - especially when most of the time they didn't even know what the issue was.
A chance to observe him in action without being detected was too valuable, for the screen conjured by Harriot showed not just Wu Kong, but all his antics that they otherwise would have missed. Unfortunately, the screen could not show them his Dao, or how it worked, which meant that even if they knew what he was likely to do, they could not stop him, or even detect him!
