Chapter 39 - Chapter 39: Seventh Sis Taken In by the Cops

"What do you think I'm trying to do?"

Claire Green picked up an iron rod and walked towards him, unhurriedly.

Michael Goodman saw this and shouted, "If you dare touch me, you're as good as dead."

Her response was the iron rod viciously hitting his body, and he immediately twisted his face in pain.

Claire Green tilted her head, unsatisfied, and swung the rod again, knocking him to the ground. Finally, she squatted down slowly, using the rod to poke his face.

She gave a shallow smile, "Want to keep playing?"

Michael Goodman felt a piercing pain in his guts and slowly lifted his head, hatred revealed in his eyes.

"The House of Goodman will never let you go."

Upon hearing this, Claire Green sneered, speaking leisurely with a hint of amusement, "Everyone in the House of Goodman likes to come to me, are you gluttons for punishment?"

Michael Goodman was puzzled, thinking she was referring to Eva Goodman.

"So, didn't George Goodman tell you about his ordeal," Claire Green spoke with interest, her eyes cold.

Suddenly.

Michael Goodman recalled George Goodman saying not long ago that the girl beat up everyone he brought, and he barely escaped himself, and that girl happened to be Claire Green.

Seeing his expression, Claire Green flicked her eyelids, exuding an indescribable rebellious aura, "Looks like you remembered."

Michael Goodman suddenly clenched one hand, cold sweat dripping from his forehead, while the other hand pulled out his phone to call the police.

At this, Claire Green chuckled lightly, "No need for you to bother, I'll do it."

Saying this, she decisively called the police in front of them.

The police came quickly, seeing the scattered iron rod and the continuously groaning man, they swiftly sent them to the hospital, while Claire Green was taken to the police station.

"Did you call the police? Tell us what happened."

Two police officers sat opposite her, opening with a question.

Claire Green sat relaxed, as if this wasn't the police station, radiating a particularly boss-like demeanor.

"Yes, I called the police. What happened was they deserved a beating, and I had to defend myself."

Hearing her words, the two police officers twitched their mouths, the first time they encountered someone who beat up others and then proactively called the police themselves.

However, they also checked the surveillance, and those people did indeed come for this girl. They didn't expect the girl to have outstanding combat power and directly beat them down.

Recalling the recent examination results, the two exchanged glances, this self-defense was close to being lethal.

"Do you know how severe their injuries are?"

Claire Green crossed her legs, hands interwoven, slowly glanced at the two.

"Not to the point of death."

The two police officers were amused by her words, it seems you wanted to cause fatalities.

At this moment, a middle-aged woman with curled hair came in, followed by the deputy director.

"Where's the girl who beat my son?"

The police at the station saw Director Zhang coming too, knowing this person definitely had an unusual status, they couldn't help but worry for the girl.

Claire Green saw the woman and knew who she was, clicked her tongue, "Here."

The woman followed the sound, was momentarily stunned by the girl's appearance, then showed disgust.

"It was you who beat my son. Director Zhang, it's best to arrest someone like her straight away."

The woman glanced at her and spoke coldly to the man behind her.

"Madam Goodman has a point." Director Zhang nodded with a pleased smile.

The two officers interrogating Claire Green were shocked to hear this and spoke up to defend her.

"Director Zhang, according to the surveillance, it was Michael Goodman who brought people to follow her and then attempted to assault her, she was only defending herself."

This officer glanced at Claire Green as he said this, considering what would have happened if the girl didn't have the ability to protect herself.

The woman, hearing this, grew enraged, "Someone like her? With my son's status, he can have whatever kind of girl he wants. I suspect she intentionally seduced my son..."

The sentence was cut off by Claire Green kicking her to the ground.

Everyone saw her rebellious expression with a sneering smile at the corners of her mouth, speaking to the woman, "I bet you wouldn't want to experience the consequence of speaking nonsense."

Afterwards.

She continued casually, "With your son's ugly looks, he's not even worth my brother's glance."

The meaning was obvious.

Hearing her words, several police officers beside her stifled laughter.

"Director Zhang, she's still hitting people in the police station, I hope you give me an explanation for this."

The woman got up, gritted her teeth, and stared at her angrily.

Director Zhang didn't expect such a thing would happen and his face darkened, he immediately promised, "Don't worry Madam, such people will not be tolerated."

...

Owen Lawrence originally came to pick up his cousin who was caught street racing, and suddenly heard a familiar voice.

Following the sound, he saw Claire Green's arrogant kick, inwardly exclaimed cool.

Then he heard the woman's voice and squinted to see, good God, wasn't that someone from the House of Goodman?

He surveyed the situation again, immediately called Julian Sia.

Once connected, he couldn't wait to speak, "Julian, Claire got into the station, come quickly."

Julian Sia's gaze gradually cooled, he squeezed the phone tightly, "Keep an eye on her."

Hanging up the phone, Owen Lawrence walked over, feigning surprise as he spoke.

"Claire, why are you here? "

His voice abruptly sounded, everyone's eyes fell on him, seeing him, the woman frowned, Owen Lawrence knew this girl.

Director Zhang felt darkness descending upon him, he couldn't afford to offend this member of the House of Lawrence either.

Claire Green saw him and raised an eyebrow, "Beat an animal, came in for a cup of tea."

Hearing this, Owen Lawrence staggered, how did you manage to talk about fighting so confidently?

The middle-aged woman couldn't bear it any longer, directly yelled angrily, "Director Zhang, I want her to leave a record and lock her up."

Director Zhang wiped the sweat from his forehead, looked at Owen Lawrence, instantly caught in a dilemma.

"Madam Goodman, have you considered the consequences of messing with Claire?" Owen Lawrence spoke slowly.

After his words.

The middle-aged woman hesitated for a moment, suspecting she had a background, but thinking of her current cooperation with the higher-ups, her eyes turned arrogant again.

"What consequences could there be? Director Zhang, aren't you taking action?"

Director Zhang gestured, instructing two people to cuff Claire Green.

In response, Owen Lawrence shrugged, I warned them, but the House of Goodman insists on courting death, there's nothing I can do.

"Stop...stop," an asthmatic middle-aged man spoke, sweat pouring down his face.

Luckily, he arrived in time, if Julian saw them cuffing her, it wouldn't end well.

Director Zhang's heart skipped a beat upon seeing him, he hurried forward, "Deputy Director Liu, why are you here?"

Deputy Director Liu glared at him heavily, approached directly, and smiled at Claire Green, "Sorry Miss Green, my subordinates were ignorant, I hope you don't mind."

Claire Green raised her delicate brows, giving a shallow smile.

"What if I do mind?"

"Then mind all the way."

A low voice, wrapped in coldness, echoed.

The middle-aged woman was suddenly wide-eyed at the sound, her body stiffened, her face gradually turning unsightly.

Owen Lawrence heard the voice and lazily whistled.

Everyone turned their heads and saw a man in a black coat, walking towards them with long strides. With each step, the atmosphere grew heavier.

Once they saw who it was, two people had the biggest reactions; the middle-aged woman's face instantly turned pale, and Director Zhang started trembling all over.

How could it be Julian Sia.

Claire Green watched him, with a slight pause.

The man's usually casual black eyes were filled with coldness and an unreadable emotion, his thin lips tight.

Julian Sia's gaze lightly swept over those people, carrying a captivating aggressiveness.
