Andrew sat on the chair present in the house, while Lady Isabelle checked around in the house, checking minor to minor details.
Andrew had his eyes fixed on Lady Isabelle, his gaze following her every movements.
Her long fingers, her foxy eyes, the sound of her heels. The way she fixed her long straight hair.
"This house has a second floor?"
Andrew stated breaking the silence.
"Oh..good I thought you are going to stare at me like a creep until your eyes come out"
She said without looking at him, she turned around facing Andrew who was sitting on a chair, she leaned against the wall, to balance her body.
Her beautiful, sinful like face holding a smirk, her smirk was like 'i caught you cheating boy'
She chuckled and shook her head slightly.
Her eyes travelled at the ceiling, staring at it.
"Yes, this house has a second floor"
"Hmm, what can be there I wonder"
Trying to hold her curiosity, Andrew tried his best.
"If you are this much wondering about it then why don't you check it out"
She lifted her hand and pointed her finger at the ceiling.
"I am downstairs"
Andrew won because Isabelle was curious, but not about what's upstairs, but curious about him, which he did not realised.
"No, no.. I was... just... curious"
He said breaking the eye contact with Isabelle because those foxy eyes held something dangerous, he stared at the floor as he could no longer hold the pressure of her eyes anymore.
When he broke the eye contact between them, the smile on her beautiful face fell and soon disappeared.
Was she disappointed?
She slowly walked towards him.
The house was small, so in a short time, she reached to where he was.
She leaned over to him, closing up the little distance, lifting up his face by the index finger, she made a eye contact with him and stared at his black eyes.
Andrew surprised by this sudden behaviour of lady Isabelle, for few seconds he stared back at her, but then confused, his black eyes would travel from one eye to another unable to keep up with her killing stares.
Gulping down his saliva, he decided to speak
"Lady Isabelle?"
His voice low, but not so low that you can not hear him.
And with the closeness they shared, Isabelle heard him clearly.
"Never break the eye contact with me"
She said, her voice sweet and lovely like an angel but her smirk said something else.
As if she warned him just now.
The intense moment broke when she heard the sound of stomach rumbling in hunger.
"You hungry?"
She said under his breath.
She moved away from her current position and stood straight.
"Nostalgia~"
She said in a happy, singing manner, her beautiful face holding a sun rise smile.
A change of emotions. So suddenly
Andrew thought.
Waving his hand infront of him in a denial motion, he said.
"No no, it's just the sound of curiosity"
"Oh,"
"Curiosity has a sound now?"
She laughed, aloud.
"If you are this much curious, go check it out I am not stopping you unless you are hungry"
Isabelle rolled her eyes, her face still holding the sun rise smile.
"No no, please I am not hungry"
"Fine"
Came a quick reply from Isabelle, and she went back to check the house.
'Sound of stomach rumbling in hunger'
The house was so silent that if you drop a pin here, the sound of the pin on hitting the floor won't go unnoticed by the people present in the room. So what was stomach rumbling.
She turned around, she had a old stylish bowl in her hand, it looked like she was checking it.
"Look you are hungry, just say so"
She lifted her one eyebrow up, and stared at him with very question full gaze.
"I am not gonna kill you for getting hungry"
Looking around, he answered avoiding the eye contact with her.
"Okay–, I am hungry"
For a minutes, she just stared at him and then said.
"There is nothing to eat here"
"Seeeee, that's the reason for my denial"
Isabelle closed her eyes and stood there.
"Ah ha"
Came a response from her as if she caught something.
She walked to the other end of the house and sat on her foots, without doing any farther more, she moved her index finger in a circle motion and a rat came running outside in light.
Andrew thought,
Rat in the house?
That rat sat there, not moving, but anyone can tell that this rat was scared.
And this behaviour of this rat was very weird or unusual, a normal rat will run around the house to get away from humans, but this rat was sitting still.
Isabelle caught the rat by its tail and lifted it up.
The rat was hanging by its own tail.
Came a calm voice of Isabelle.
"Here, eat this"
First Andrew did not respond to her, he just did not knew, what was happening at this moment anymore!
His eyes would travel from the rat to Isabelle's foxy eyes.
"What! NO"
Andrew did not himself realised that he shouted at her.
Isabelle frowned, and her face was holding a annoyed expression.
"You are hungry right?"
"Yes, I am, my lady, but this"
He said widening his eyes and he pointed his both hands towards the rat.
"A RAT!!!?"
"You don't eat rats?"
"NO, I don't, what made you think that"
"I thought poor village people eats rats or mice"
She shook her hand slightly in a question full manner.
"Don't you guys?"
"Yes, we do, I guess so"
Andrew was himself confused that the village people even eat rat or mice.
But he was sure but one thing, that he didn't,
"But I don't, my lady"
"Oh, okay I will let this rat go, if you don't wanna eat"
Isabelle was still holding the rat in her hands. What if Andrew changes his mind afterall a human is hungry,
And there is nothing special then a human changing its behaviour
Andrew noticed her still holding the rat, he frowned and his jaw dropped.
"What, I am not gonna eat that"
Even after him declaring it, Isabelle was still holding the rat by its tail.
He gave her a seriously expression and spoke
"Even if I die from starvation, I am not gonna eat that"
"What do you expect in food when there is nothing to eat?"
She turned to look at the rat and spoke,
"And if you choose to die from starvation, then okay I will let this rat go"
"It was your choice"
She dropped the rat on the floor,
And like if the rat got its strength back, that rat ran towards one dark corner of the house.
"Now enough with your hunger, tell me what happened, when I was not at the castle?"
