Christine Quinn flung Rebecca Quentin aside, angrily shouting, "Bastard, this is just too much!!"
Watching Christine Quinn storm toward the door, Rebecca Quentin did not stop her and choked out, "Sis, what dignity do I have left in front of him if you do this?"
Rebecca Quentin's words caused Christine Quinn's spine to stiffen, immediately freezing her in place.
"Becca..."
Christine Quinn turned around, her voice full of infinite affection.
Rebecca Quentin lowered her eyes, biting her lips hard. Once she felt that the pain in her lips had numbed the pain in her heart, she softly spoke, "Sis, promise me, stop calling him about my issues in the future, let's just put a full stop to things between him and me!"
"But..."
Rebecca Quentin shook her head, "Don't say anymore, sis... I'm tired, I want to go back to the room to rest for a while, call me at noon."
Knowing she needed quiet time to think, Christine Quinn didn't stop her and nodded lightly.
