Stepping into the Web I pulled my mask off, a smile on my face.

My gaze immediately going to one of the screens, watching as massive amounts of data and files moved across it.

All belonging to SHIELD.

That Spinner now, and by extension I, had access to.

Along with Gwen of course.

Who I turned to after I spotted Spinner.

Finding her typing at a terminal, while also reviewing numerous amounts of notes and data on another on her right.

"So you're ignoring me now. Well, just tell me what I did and I'll fix it." I playfully spoke.

Only for Gwen to continue working and completely ignore me.

'Okay, maybe I did do something really wrong.' I thought.

Since when Gwen truly ignores me like this I know I'm in trouble.

As I contemplated what I could've done suddenly Spinner spoke up.

"It's no use Peter. After I showed Gwen some of SHIELDS files surrounding the original super-soldier serum, and the variants the agency has reproduced over the years, in an attempt to recreate the original formula, she build up our own research on the matter and has been engrossed in it ever since. Not stopping no matter what I do." He explained.

Answering the question I had.

Gwen wasn't ignoring me because I had messed up she was simply in what I call the zone.

A state of utter focus.

One that even I get into when I'm working on something I love.

Now understanding the situation I knew exactly what I needed to do.

But first I took off my suit, stored it, and changed back into my regular clothing.

Once I did I walked up to Gwen, spun her around, and then gave her a kiss right on the lips before she could say a word.

Given stimulating each other in some way is how Gwen and I pull each other out of the zone.

After a few seconds passed I broke our kiss.

"Peter, when did you get back?" She asked.

"Just a few minutes ago. But you were so in the zone you didn't notice."

"Sorry, it's just when Spinner showed me all this data on the Super-soldier serum research from the SHIELD files my mind went into overdrive. Especially since with it we can finish our own version of the serum in the next couple of months, instead of it taking us a year or two like we originally predicted it would." Gwen explained.

"Are you certain?" I asked.

"Yes." She immediately replied.

Bringing a smile to my face.

Since this means we can now save Harry and his mother sooner rather than later.

But more than that Gwen and I can now enhance ourselves with the Super-soldier serum before the Chitauri invasion next year.

Because there is no way I simply not going to take the serum.

"Alright then. But on that note let's put off our magic training until this is complete. We don't want to spread ourselves too thin after all." I said.

For that can lead to mistakes.

Ones Gwen and I cannot afford, given the issues we are dealing with.

"Agreed." Gwen replied. "Besides I didn't want to start that training until after summer break anyway. Even a girl like me needs a complete a total break after all."

"Oh that's right your Oscorp internship is out on hold during the summer." I said.

"That's right." Gwen replied. "And you know what that means Parker?" She asked. Gwen getting a sly smile on her face as she stood up and jiggled her butt in my direction. "It means you get the privilege of seeing all I have to offer in a swimsuit at the beach in a few weeks." She spoke.

My mind instantly picturing Gwen in a bikini.

Leading me to head over and sit down on one of the couches in the Web.

For several minutes.

Given the obvious reasons.

Me ignoring the smug look Gwen shot me when I did.

Then once my lower head calmed down I decided to help Gwen with perfecting our version of the Super-soldier serum.

All the while remembering her earlier words.

Realizing summer couldn't get there fast enough.

(3rd Person: POV)

While Peter fantasized about having his very own beach episode, across town trouble was yet again brewing.

A frown on his face John Jonah Jameson stood in the bullpen of his paper the Daily Bugle.

Some of his best people surrounding him.

Including his editor Joseph "Robbie" Robertson.

Two of his best reporters.

The first being Ben Urich.

While the second is his former secretary Betty Brant.

Finally there was one of his best photographers Edward "Eddie" Brock.

All of whom were standing in front of a board displaying news clippings and various images of both Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider.

"Okay people, tell me you've got something juicy on these two masked menaces." Jonah spoke.

"Sorry Jonah, it's the same as always. Nothing but good things all around for Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider." Robbie spoke.

Ignoring the grimace Jonah made upon hearing this.

"Come on, you're telling me no one has anything bad to say about these two?!" Jonah asked.

"Except for the criminals they capture, no. And even then some of them are actually grateful to the spider duo for stopping them in the first place." Robbie replied.

"Jonah, maybe it's time you give this crusade against masked heroes a rest." Ben spoke up.

"I don't pay you to give your opinion about my actions Urich, I pay you to give your opinions about others." Jonah instantly retorted. "And of course you would defend these two. Just like you defend that red horned freak in Hell's Kitchen." He said.

Given the relationship between Ben Urich and Daredevil.

"Okay, let's everyone take it down a notch." Robbie spoke.

Getting in between Jonah and Urich, since he saw the look on Ben's face when Jonah spoke to him and he wanted to stop things before they escalated further.

"No, Robbie, that's the last thing we need to do. Actually we need to turn things up. Especially in Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider." Jonah spoke. "If we do then I'm sure they'll reveal their true colors."

"Mr. Jameson, please be mindful. And remember what happened the last time you tried that tactic." Betty spoke up.

Reminding everyone of what happened the last time Jameson tried to go after Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider without any solid proof.

Namely by posting some inflammatory comments about the superhero duo on social media.

When he did in less than an hour there was a huge crowd of protesters outside the Daily Bugles office building.

Calling for Jameson head.

Leading him to have to retract the statements he made.

"Don't worry Ms. Brant, that's a mistake I won't make again." Jonah replied. "Instead I'll catch them red handed this time." He mused.

Jonah then turned to Eddie. "Speaking of, Brock, what's the situation on my photos?!"

Leading Eddie to grimace.

"Not good sir. No matter what I do I can't seem to get any clean shots of the spider duo in action. I'm using all my tricks, but no matter how hard I try I can't catch them." Eddie explained.

"All I'm hearing is excuses Brock. And we don't do excuses here. So shape up, get me those photos of the spider duo, or you're fired!" Jameson shouted.

Eddie simply nodding his head in resignation.

Seeing this Jameson returned his gaze to everyone else.

He then discussed a few other key topics before ending the meeting and returning to his office.

Where after an hour his secretary let in his next meeting.

A private investigator by the name of MacDonald Gargan.

One who Jameson had hired to find out the identities of both Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider a month ago.

"Good day Mr. Jameson." Max spoke, taking a seat in one of the chairs in front of Jameson desk.

"Don't waste my time with small talk Gargan, for time is money. Now, what do you have for me?"

"I'm trying Mr. Jameson. Believe me I really am. But I can't find anything on either Spdier-Man or Ghost-Spider." Max spoke.

"Then what the hell am I paying you for?!" Jameson snarled.

Leading Gargan to visibly flinch.

"Bah, useless. Just like the others." Jameson mused.

Leaning back in his chair.

Beginning to think on how he get both Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider.

As he did suddenly his computer chimed.

Letting Jameson know he got an email.

One from one of his police contacts, which he had made many of during his years in journalism.

Opening the email, and ignoring Gargan who was still whimpering, Jameson read it and found it to be a preliminary report of how Spider-Man assisted the police of apprehending one Maxwell Dillon, also known as the Electro, the man recently responsible for New York power failures.

Seeing this Jameson frowned.

Since the report once again only sang Spider-Man praises.

But that only lasted for a moment before a single thought ran through Jameson head.

'Every time a super villain appears Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider usually aren't far behind.' He thought.

Jameson then got a lightbulb moment.

Leading him to smirk.

"What's got you so excited Mr. Jameson?" Gargan asked.

Jameson looking at him immediately when he did.

The gears in his mind turning until he got another idea.

"Say Gargan, how would you like to do another job for me? One that will pay triple?" Jameson asked.

Mac perking up immediately upon hearing it.

Already agreeing to the job in his mind.

Having no idea what lay in store for him.
