If the ship had been left on the ground where it landed, then it would surely have been torn apart, and it would be difficult to leave the planet once more.
That meant that Katja had to wait until day came for her to be able to be safely picked up.
The second day came and she emerged once more traumatised and tired but not completely shaken.
She spent some more days on the planet encountering unique plants and stones along with other things until her time finally came to an end. "I will not be coming back here. I can guarantee that! Katja out!"
Medea pondered a little as she finished watching. "I see… the main threat is the planet itself that requires basic survival needs, while the most dangerous time is during the night.
Seeking aid or a way of retreat cannot be done during the night, so we would have to do everything alone."
Bunbun added her opinion. "Those creatures sure are ugly. I wonder how they taste."
Ripley rolled her eyes. "Hopefully, we will never have to encounter them, but perhaps there may be a chance to do so. It depends on how quickly the job you want will take to achieve. They seem small compared to me, but their gore would do damage."
Not even Ripley was completely certain that she could survive being swarmed by a large number of them, as their horn seemed to be quite sharp and their flight speed seemed to make their gore very powerful.
It was not something that she felt like testing out, so they circled around the planet to land where the day was starting out, so that they would have more time to search until the night returned.
Another factor that needed to be considered was making it through the whole night, whether it was trying to hide and hold out somewhere or by staying on the move.
When night came, it became pitch black as everywhere was covered in darkness where the creatures thrived.
They were the type of creatures that were more attuned to the darkness than any other, so they made excellent hunters during the night.
Their sizes seemed to vary, and so did some of their body types, but what they had in common was their aggressive nature.
Their destructive tendencies were very high, so they tended to be extremely effective at breaking into places and breaking things.
It was not too surprising that the inhabitants of the planet had been pushed to the brink of extinction, while there had been something that fled to survive.
The planet was recognised as an SSS rank danger planet for a reason, and it was that very planet that had been the home planet of the scientist who had been captured by Bunbun, Medea and Ashwin.
Research started to be done by Neo Stella and Ashwin to help prepare for what was ahead of them before they landed, so the chosen people involved would be well-equipped.
After the ships landed, they dropped everyone off before departing once more, but those left behind had their wristwatch to communicate with them.
The days passed without issue as a small team ventured into the lands.
They packed many types of equipment that were carried by Ripley, who was the largest among them, allowing her to carry heavier and larger things with fewer issues.
There were several nights when swarms kept recklessly charging at them despite there being strong light to keep them away.
It was like they were fearful or allergic to the light that made them repelled by it once it was too bright and reached them.
It seemed to confuse their senses in a way, but those charging as they lost those basic senses did not have it so easy that they could stop and retreat.
Medea, Bunbun and Ripley ended up being the most useful for protecting the equipment while Neo Stella and Ashwin continued maintaining it so that no faults appeared.
There was some use of torches or flash bang grenades during important moments, but the light box that had been created by Ashwin and Neo Stella had released light in all directions, keeping many of those creatures away.
There had been some things that had been collected by them, but there was still a lot of the planet to explore, and that could not be done in a single day.
If there was anything helpful, then it was that Ripley could cover more ground when walking around with her giant body.
The current situation was that they had been cornered by a mountainside.
There were many creatures flying around, while some crawled out from tunnels underneath the ground or that were a part of the mountain.
Anywhere that was dark was where they usually lived during the day, and they came out at night.
So long as there was enough shade away from the light, they would be hidden there.
The ground was struck many times near the mountain as Bunbun had grown in size.
She had grown to the same size as Ripley, and her body had transformed to show glistening rainbow scales that mixed in with her fur that had changed along with the transformation.
Her claws became much sharper as she struck down with them toward the ground near the mountain.
Ripley did the same as her claws dug into the ground.
A large hole had already been dug out from both of their efforts.
Flashes of light spread out as a figure kept moving around the area near the parts that the light could not quite reach.
Medea helped to keep the surroundings safe, but it was just as difficult to protect Ripley and Bunbun, who were a much bigger size, as the light being provided would not be so helpful to them.
They were so big that they would block out a lot of the light, causing them to leave behind a large shadow that those creatures could get into to get to them.
The body of Medea flashed with electricity, causing everywhere that she passed to brighten up.
Her sword followed with her movements as the creatures were stabbed in their vital areas with swift precision.
The electricity created light that confused and repelled the creatures, while those hit with a direct attack were either stunned, injured or killed.
