In the night, even without the heavy fog, it was hard to see the man and the cat on the beach. After Shade had finished telling his story of the "battle" with the water ghost in the lake, the cat suddenly spoke:
"My ancestors probably also viewed this lake from this beach."
"But I doubt they watched it in the form of a cat like you."
Shade joked, but the female sorcerer didn't seem to find it funny:
"You've noticed, haven't you? Those two Eight Rings Sorcerers who could jointly cast spells weren't ordinary Circle Sorcerers."
The cat's voice was gentle:
"The Edwards family seems to have a peculiar bloodline connection; I can almost be certain they are my two nephews. The Mirror Keeper can determine the location of that cemetery, and it probably has something to do with them."
