"Oh!"
Shard, who was moving through the thick mist in the forest, suddenly fell and couldn't get up again.
The black and white cat struggled a lot to crawl out from under his body, and then saw the slender straight wound on Shard's back. A tear had opened in his clothes, and there was a thin, long blood trail on the skin.
Although the wound looked like it was just a scratch from a sharp silver table knife, she knew what that meant.
Her transformation time wasn't over yet, and she called Shard a few times without any response. She struggled to get closer to his neck to check his pulse, her voice filled with panic and sadness:
"John Watson, wake up, you absolutely mustn't..."
"Oh!"
Shard suddenly lifted his head, startling the black and white cat, and his wide-eyed heavy breathing indisputably proved he wasn't dead:
"The [False Immortality] state has been triggered!"
The pain in his back made Shard's voice tremble:
